I have a subtank mini with the stock drip tip it gets a little hotter than i like. The metal seems a bit thin and heats up fast. Im thinking a heat sink drip tip but not sure if they work or just a gimmick. Also some tips just dont sit right in the subtank. I was wondering if anyone found a solution they would care to share for my problem.

There are several drip tips that are made of delrin which will help keep the heat from getting to you. There are also hybrid drip tips that have an aluminum base with a delrin tip or visa-versa which will achieve the same thing.
I just recieved a new tip from vapordna. It's a 2 Puffs Wurl black and silver (2piece).It cost a little much $24.00 but it fits my Kanger substanks nice and I can swop it. Thats my 2 cents. Hope you find something good. If so please share.

I have two that i have gotten since this post the first is a Vulcan driptip with heat sink inserts. It stay very cool and looks really nice on the subtank didnt fit at first but it seems to lock in after the o ring drys. The other is a wider bore pyrex also stays cool but not like the vulcan i can get it warm chain vaping but not uncomfortable like the original drip tip did. So the Vulcan did the trick its kinda pricey but i got it for $20 on ebay and its worth it im not cooking my lips anymore.
Nice. That sounds good I will see what they look like. I sure like the 2 puffs wurl and the 2nd o ring makes a tight fit. Mine was $24 though. I would have bought 3 if there was a deal... Thanks for return message
If you paid $24 for a 2puffs online you paid too much. Next time look at fasttech.
I know. I thought this alot! Maybe i'm nuts. I'll check it out because it fits the subs very good and I don't prefer the wide bore any more than the normal. I just questioned fasttech as a supplier as to getting whats advertised. Should try them and I will.

I have a couple of those. There okay for the price. I prefer stainless to delrin 2 piece, when I find them. I'll check around, but not in the market right now.
Uncrustable by Vaporshark is very nice. It has a special coating which keeps it clean for a long time . Similar to teflon on no stick pans. also does not get hot and matches to the the subtank right to the thr red or ring
