RDA Need help finding a specific Kennedy RDA clone

I need help finding a specific Kennedy rda clone. I'm looking for a non-competition centered clone with a demon top cap clone. I know there are the comp clones out there but I would rather have the regular Kennedy with the single centered airflow on each side and pair it with the top down airflow of a demon top cap clone if possible. If I like it I will drop the coin for the authentic but I'm just unsure whether I will like it or not. All the ones I've been finding are the comp clones without the demon top cap which I would have to buy separate. I have yet to find any clones of the top cap separate. I really dont want to drop $100+ on the rda and then $40+ on the cap until I know I like it. Any help will be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure FastTech has that version... nope, I was wrong.

But... if you buy two clone RDAs you can probably "Franken-atty" what you want. Combine a V1 Kennedy (two bottom holes) and a V2 Kennedy with the second, down draft cap... $23 to find out.

Might want to be more specific than I was in a quick search... meaning get both from the same MFG, so there's a better chance of the top fitting the base correctly.

1. Use the deck in competition mode (4 hole base)
2. Use the deck in v1 mode (plug 2 of the airholes)
3. Use the kennedy with demon cap open or plugged
4. Use the kennedy with gremlin

I have both the authentic (centered 2 hole) and clone (competition). The quality of the clone is excellent and you can't tell the difference in taste, looks, or fitting. You can't go wrong...

I didn't even think about plugging 2 holes in the comp. Does it come with plugs? See my concern is to much air flow muting the flavor and me not being able to handle the airflow in general. I'm looking for the flavor mainly not to mention I just like the aesthetics of the Kennedy. From what I've read most on here say the centered with the demon top cap is the best for keeping the flavor. I'm not really that much of a lung hitter. Should I just cut the the Kennedy from my list entirely? I'm just now really starting to look into rda's. I do have a magma, which I love, but want to branch out and see what else is out there. The velocity and the derringer are both on my list as well. Any more recommendations will be appreciated.

The kennedy competition does not come with plugs. Some folks that bought the competition didn't care for the airiness after they bought it and closed off 2 of the 4 airholes to increase the flavor. You don't really need the centered 2 hole version unless you prefer centered coil build options. There is a lancia rda that comes with plugs, however, it has a shallow deck and may be prone to leaking if you overfill. I like the design except for the juice capacity on the deck. I don't have a velocity but I do have the derringer. Nice flavor and not a bad choice. You should also consider the origen v3. Many options to build on, adjustable airflow, and good juice capacity.

If you want the centered deck you're going to have to buy it from Steve's website Home of the Kennedy RDA there are no centered deck clones available. The closest you can get is the Focal version of the competition which has the properly machined deck and a stainless steel dragon cap, but it's two holes per side. The only single hole per side deck that is available with the correct machining is from FT and it's NOT a good quality clone, as it is the left offset version of the deck and it has a standard 510 drip tip cap. IMO The cloners sort of went crazy with the competition version and things got out of control, now they seem to only offer the competition deck clones everywhere.

You can buy the centered deck by itself for $60 and the Dragon cap for $40 from Steve's website;

If you want flavor look at the Freakshow or mini, the Magma or the Veritas.

I have the Magma but not used it yet. Have the Freakshow on order.

Haven't used the Magma. It stays in my bug out bag. Haven't received the Freakshow mini.

But my Veritas clone i'm in love. It has given me better flavor than ANYTHING.

I built a single horizontal coil and placed that coil directly in front of the air intake. It has given my better flavor than all of the clearomisers I used the Nautilus Mini, the Kanger Subtank mini and Nano even than the coils I wrapped for the Pro Tank and the OCC heads I wrapped for the Mini and Nano.

A friend bought a Veritas clone on eBay for $9.99. I paid $12.99 for my Veritas clone on eBay and I'm in love.

I have another Magma clone coming should be here in a day or so.

I put my first Magma in the bug out bag because it screws together with no O rings to tear and leak except for the o rings on the drip tip.

The Kennedy is a great atty.. not for everyone, but I love it.
