Try some different cables also unplug and re-plug the usb cable... 1st though you have got to get the driver installed correctly or it will not communicate. I had to unplug and replug the usb cable a couple times and kill and restart the software a few times till it recognized my device. Also the first cable I tried didn't seem to want to work so I tried a different one. Once you select the file after connected for me it was "SXmini_ML_Class-V2.102-English.SXI" Let it upgrade and DO NOT UNPLUG during this process. Wait until the progress meter reaches the far side and says complete. When you first run the software it will tell you if the firmware is out of date and mine was. After upgrade it won't say this anymore. See attached file for the upgraded firmware version after it's up to date. So far I'm loving this device... it's head and shoulders above any I've tried and I've tried a few! Even provari and their new sub ohm device are already beat before it's even available as far as I'm concerned I think... we'll see!

Note the video above is for the M version not the ML. The new software has different options but looks similar. Also I left the battery in while doing the firmware on the ML and it didn't make any difference at all... in fact I needed to select link mode which I don't see how you could do without the battery in it... anyhow after words I just unplugged and it restarted with new firmware intact.

Time to experiment with drawing some curves!!! This is legit I'm telling ya! Whole new dimension in customized vape action! Will update was we find some more info...

Did it work for you ? I can't seem to get it to work. Whenever i plug it in it'll say device not recognized

It worked for some people but not me. I keep getting "device not found". I tried a different cable and it still didn't work. I tired all the suggestions in this thread too and they didn't help. SX mini software update out today. • /r/electronic_cigarette
I figure I have to contact YIHI or wait for a fix for this last update.

Success! I figured out how to make the upgrade to work. First hookup your device to your computer. Then go to program files (x86) and find the folder named YIHIEcigar and open up the sub folder SXi-Q. Then find the application SXi-DriverSetup. Double click on it and install the driver. After that the program should work. It worked for me and I hope it works for you and others having a problem.

lol...I happen to agree with you. I'm curious to see what their new software upgrade is all about. The beta testers have been raving about it. I'm kind of amazed that the Radius is selling like crazy. Lots of people are even buying several of them.

There isn't a SXi-Q folder in it... Any idea why ?

As a long time provape customer I can say with almost certanty this mini blows the Radius away... Even the fit finish and over all build and feel in the hand is superior. I'm glad provape is catching up but I'm afraid they are a little late to the game. I'm sure the Radius is a great mod... Don't get me wrong. This device just seems much more flexible no two ways about it. It's amazing device and doesn't feel like anything less than ultra premium.

Lol between this and my new google nexus 6p phone made by huawei I gotta say Chinese have been upping their game. They are actually creating some products that compete at the highest level.

What device are you trying to upgrade? The instructions I gave are for the SX Mini ML. I realized today that for the SX Mini ML the SXi-Q DriverSetup is listed in the Windows start menu in the SXi-Q folder.

I agree the Radius is probably a great mod. It's probably the best 40 watt and under mod on the market right now. However for the same price the SX Mini ML blows it away. I imagine their next version of the Radius will catch up to the competition.

I've been watching the threads of the Nexus 6P at Android Central and it sounds like almost everyone loves it. Sounds like it's the best smartphone of the year. I have a HTC M9 and considered upgrading to the 6P for the better camera but I figured I'd wait to see what the HTC M10 is going to be like since my M9 is only 6 months old.

I'm trying to upgrade the SX Mini M class !

Oh that's why you don't have a SXi-Q folder. I don't have a M class so I'm not sure whats included in that software. Are there any applications that say DriverSetup?

You might get better info if you post your problem in the SX Mini M thread.
SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)
