Need help for the Odysseus

Hi,

I am new to this, but currently I bought a new GGTS and Odysseus Iatty 2, but I lost the top cover O ring. I found a replacement on Ebay eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d, thats the site. Would it be correct 9x2 O ring?

Also my Ody is leaking abit of juice from the Ody to the bottom to the atomizer connector of the GGTS, is that okay?

I also did not realised I must get the GGTS base for the Ody, how do I substitute the base since its out of stock and there is a gap from my GGTS to the Ody.

Lastly, I need to get non resistance wires but its out of stock on COV, but I found on Ebay Pure Nickel wire (non resistance wire ) 32 awg 100 ft | eBay, can this nickel wire be used for the Ody?

The leak must be from a bad o-ring or its not tight enough

You dont want nickel in your juice,search for silver wire instead,its on fleabay

As for the base,it will be back on the shelves soon enough,stalk your reseller (or send him a holler,see what he can do)

So the O ring that i purchased is correct? Cause from previous threads I thought 9mm was the ID not the OD ?

I am not sure how it is leaking to the atomizer connector of the GGTS, stalk the resellers as in COV ?

Would this silver wire work for Ody? 1m Solid Silver .999 Pure 28ga .33mm Round Dead Soft Beading Wire 28 gauge | eBay Or is it too thick?

Can't help with Ody wire size, I don't own an Ody (Oh..someday...), but the UK site actually has this info included on their stuff.

Does anyone know what are the wire dimensions used to make the Ody coils for the non resistance wires? I am scared to buy the wire that might be too thick or thin ?

Like martinc said...30 GWA dead soft. Amazon carries it if you're a prime member it's free delivery, although it's a bit pricier then twisted jewels who sells it for I believe, 50 cents a foot.

Edit: Just saw you're in Australia, so probably forget amazon.

Okay thanks mart and Ezkill for the information, I picked the 10 Metres 0.25mm Soft Fine Silver Wire 99.99% from wires.co.uk : Round Silver Wire, that would be fine right ? 30 gauge would be 0.255mm converted.

And sorry just one more thing, is there any other place where i can buy replacement O rings for my Ody, COV and other GG re sellers are out of stock.

Yeah,CoV (good luck,use the notify me feature and stalk the CoV thread in the US supplier forum--ask questions!PM him!)

As for the leak,its most probably due to some juice finding its way down the air hole (it is 1 way to get a leak); doubling your wick at the coil should cure that,if this is the problem;the other way would be from the seal at the very bottom (at the connector) inside the sleeve (#15 o-rings not making a good seal;lube everything with vaseline,use enough,not just so you wet the o-rings,it will stop if the problem is there)
