Wow, even more confused! Ok so here's what I would want:
--One that looks like a cigarette would be preferred but I wouldn't want to sacrifice quality for that.
--Can they all be used with different levels of nicotine? I want to slowly get down to none!
--I heard only get a manual battery--Why?
--I heard some have Diacetyl in the nicotine? Do they say if they dont?

Ok that's good to get me started--then Im sure I'll have more questions

You need to keep in mind that the EGO is much fatter than your original KR808 from V4L. The size of any e-cig is basically the size of the battery...

As far as manual battery vs. auto, once again it is a trade-off (like everything with e-cigs). Manual you get more control, longer hit times and less problems with juice interfering with it. Auto is more natural for many people. Most experienced vapors choose manual.

Edit: Opps, I got my threads confused. I thought you had a V4L originally. Different thread. lol.

Another Edit: I got confused. it was someone that responded to this thread that bought V4L and didn't like it.

There is a trade off with Ecigs. If you want performance, EGO/Riva = best. If you want small size like a cig, then you have to go with something else like a 510, 901 or KR808. An EGO is basically a 510 with a big battery. It isn't a matter of quality that you are sacrificing as you mentioned - it is a trade-off. Small e-cig = small battery. Small battery = having to charge often and less hits at full strength so less satisfying experience from that perspective.

BUT small is a mental thing when trying to quit analogs.

I have posted my personal view before. It is that most people should choose an EGO/Riva to start out. Then, if they want something smaller then order a different style and use that also. The reason for this opinion is simple: If someone chooses something with less performance (i.e. small) they may not like the vaping experience. If they choose the EGO they WILL get the vaping performance. Then the only issue becomes whether it is best for them.

If you end up being a vaper, you WILL eventually buy other models regardless of what you choose. Trust me!! LOL

Thanks --this is a great help!! Can you start with automatic and then switch without buying a whole other device?

You can have auto batteries or manual for the same model, like the EGO. The Manual vs. Auto is ONLY the battery. You either have a battery with a button on it (manual) or you don't (auto). So yes. i could plug in an auto battery into my EGO no problem.

You will find that most EGO kits have manual as that is what most experienced users prefer.

My personal view is that if someone wants something as close to size as an analog - auto. The reason for this is simple. If you have to have that for the mental thing, then you need auto. Because the only reason to buy small is mental - not performance. But for many, mental is important in trying to give up analogs.

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
I buy individual KR808D-1 manual batteries from ValueVapor for $10, and DSE901 attys for $5, and you can get USB charger for $3 or an AC charger for $5 (i think).

The Vapor Leaf kits have two batts, a charger and 6 cartos for $27. I think that is a better way to go. Can always add a 901 atty if you want to later.

Thank you guys for all your help! :) It was very nice of you to give me some answers!

One last thing before I place my order (and I added some more cartomizers...but had to go to work...so now back to finish the order)... Liberty Flights is a reputable company right? LOL E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings

Wow, that is cheap. I have never seen one for $40 before. The competition must be really heating up. Most companies want about $65-$70 for it. Some far more. So $55 at LiteCig worked for me when i bought mine...

As I understand they all sold out in this special. In the next week or so, they'll have Rivas back in for $29.99. I bought one before they sold out the last time.

Their across the board 20% off is great too. :)

So I think Im down to either the eGo kit or a kr 808 D1--do either have a case charger available? Are there any specials or better places to order from--I want to get this ordered today!!

Got my eGo today! Wow! What a difference from my old one! Thanks for your help guys! Now that I've figured out how to put the liquid in it (I was putting it in the wrong place), now I need to get a syringe to help with that. Any suggestions?

18 gauge w/ blunt tip works well for ego mega carto's. Alot of ejuice places sell them, off the top of my head I know freedomsmokeusa has them I just got stuff in the mail from them today.

Everything mentioned above is very valid. I have found nothing but good advise on this forum, but you had one requirement/desire that won't be as easy to address. A good, accurate straight cigarette flavor is going to be difficult to find, many are close-ish, I have found none to be exact. My advise is to try to get past the notion that nicotine needs to taste like burning tobacco. There are hundreds of awsome flavors to choose from, and if you can make the transition it will be even harder to go back to analogs.
