Hey all,
Just recently got into vaping (after quitting cigs) and now am looking for a better upgrade. I have a Brilliant Smoke e-cig which is very basic and i bought because I just wanted to dive right into vaping. Now seeing online the availability of different types of e-cigs i realize I need to upgrade as mine just isnt cutting it. I want something that produces a lot of vapor, has a good throat hit, and has a good availability if i ever need to buy more accessories. Im not looking to mod it in any way, just something I can have that will provide me a pleasant experience. My price range is about 100$ so feel free to shoot away with your opinions on good starter kits. I've read lots of posts on starter kits, and read the article on which ones are recommended. I just want hear your guys' opinions. Thanks. Tanman.

I was thinking about the joye 510-T. Any opinions on that?

Get a Vamo. They're $39-$59 for the body only. ($39.99 from China or $59.99 from a US vendor.) So by the time you buy some batteries, a charger, and a delivery system of your choice, you'll be right there. I suggest punched cartos and a tank since that's the best bang for your buck, but you'll want to try out the various methods and see which you like best.

I have a Vamo. It does its job but it has to be the longest pv on the market. You could never carry it in your pocket. If you're a real newbie I'd wait a bit before getting into the big mods. I've been vaping for 9 months and have some good gear now but I still enjoy my Joye 510s, as I can take them anywhere. They are still basically cigarette size but you will find them noticeably better than the one you're using. With the right juice you'll be getting plenty of vapour. Best way to use them is with a low resistance cartomiser. For a larger, longer lasting setup you can't really go wrong with an ego.

No juice in this list, but other than the drip tips , below is a copy and paste of a recent order I made for a new vapor friend.

Pass on the 510t. Been there, done that. The eGo is a good compromise between a cigalike, and the larger tube mods that many new people are not comfortable with in the beginning. All for under $100

2 x eGo USB Rapid Charger - 420mAh
1 x USB Wall Socket
1 x Griffin USB 2Port 2Amp Mini Car Charger
2 x eGo C Twist 900mah Variable Voltage - Stainless
2 x DV Mini Vivi Nova Tank Clearomizer 2.0ml - eGo threaded
1 x Skull Drip Tip
1 x Drip Tip - 510 - Dynasty - Jade
2 x Kanger T3 Bottom Coil Replacement - 2.4-2.6 ohms
4 x DV Mini Vivi Nova Coil Head - 4 Wick - 2.4ohms
1 x Kanger MT3 Rebuildable Clearomizer - Stainless
1 x Drip Tip - TriSwirl #4

Battery Info
100 mah= 1 hour normal vaping before requiring recharge. Understand if you are using a higher voltage via a variable voltage PV the batteries will drain quicker.

PVs

eGo Class:
JoyTech eGo fires @ 3.3 volts, SmokTech eGo fires @ 3.7 volts and the Kgo fires @ 3.7 volts- come in 650, 900 or 1100 mah depending on the manufacturer- most popular 510 threading/ connection and are manual. I own a Kgo and I LOVE it. Have used the JoyTech eGo and prefer the Kgo because of the higher voltage.

Mini Variable Volt PV: 510 threading/ connection. Manual Batteries.

Kgo VV- only comes in 650 mah- I own it and find battery life a problem.

Twist comes in 650, 900 and 1000 mah. Voltage dial very narrow/ smooth and not easy to turn. Voltage numbers very hard to read/ invisible. Button occasionally sticks.

Vision Spinner comes in 400, 650, 900, 1100 and 1300 mah. Wide knurled voltage dial easy to turn and easy to read voltage markings. 1300 mah Spinner is the same size as 1000 Twist.
Both variable voltage PVs above fire from 3.3-4.8 volts.
I owned the Twists and now use them as backups because the dial was hard to turn and I could not clearly see the voltage markings.
1300 Vision Spinner- 113mm or ~4.4 inches long; 16MM WIDE, 2MM WIDER THAN A STANDARD EGO
1100 Vision Spinner- 119mm or ~4.75 inches long
1000 Twist- Length 120mm(4.75")/Diameter 14mm

Advantage of the VV- when stressed and need a stronger hit I can easily and quickly dial up the voltage. For an all day vape I can lower it to 3.7-4.0. Also some flavors really shine at high voltage while others at a lower voltage.

There is also the joycetech ego big battery mod that holds an 18650 battery and the vivi nova tanks and the cleromizers fit nicely i would just google it as many different suppliers cary it...... all day battery life and not too long with still a simple to use design i have one for a backup for when i dont feel like lugging my provari around and as long as u get a low resistance cleromizer head you can produce clouds of vapor and they are all soo simple to use you can also spend about 70 bucks on the ego itself and batteries and a vivi nova and cleromizers for all your flavors i would recomend it to anyone

I agree with buying the ego battery and a clearomizer. My set up is the ego battery and a Kanger T2. Here is where I get mine cause the price is awesome Kanger T2 V2 Sunfire 2.4 - 2.6ohm Clearomizer / Cartomizer - Vaping Me . I mean 99 cent replacement heads can't be beat. Plus the owner is wonderful and welcomes phone calls. He will be happy to answer any questions you have.
I have heard good things about the vivi nova, the mt3s and some of the others just so you don't think I am knocking those. I just prefer this setup for my personal tastes.
