Hello Mad. From what I've read on here the iStick 20W has some center pin issues and you may not be making a good connection. The search box in the top right corner of every page is keyword activated, and there is a ton of info on the iStick 20W.

If the pin has been depressed you will need to use a small screwdriver to carefully pry it back (make certain the istick is off).

Other than that...upgrade to the 50W, keep the 20 for a back up, problem solved.

My guess is that it is the pin not making a good connection. If your girlfriend likes the form factor of the iStick 20, you can always get her the iStick 30. They look almost identical. They are identical in size, but the iStick 30's top cap has a slight flare so that the flare will fit flush with the size of your larger tanks. The iStick 30 also improved on the iStick 20 by having a spring loaded center pin, so you don't have this problem with the intermittent connection.

IMO it's likely the istick20w causing the problem. More then a fair share of people have had problems with this device and imo it's a junk device (only the 20w) simply because I hate that it doesn't even read correctly(when you set it to 8w, you are not vaping at 8w). There are threads after threads of people having pins issues.

If your girlfriend likes the small size and feel of the 20w, the Istick 30w is almost identical in size and weight. You almost cannot tell them apart. The 30w does not have any of the issues the 20w has and it reads correctly.

Been a member for a bit now moon thanks but only had this problem it's not the istick 20 watt at all that's a couple of people have stated it was actually the screw in the aerotank that allowes you to adjust your airflow hitting I attachment that allowes the 510 threads and that was causing the problem with that little tiny screw hitting it, thanks for the comments guys but after messing with both aerotanks and mixing parts up found out one screw on the inside stuck out more :)

One or two of my tanks have fluctuating readings on the iStick 20w.

The only consistent factor of the ones that read 100% results all the time is the 'depth' of the contact pin in the bottom of the atomizer.

Both my Subtanks and Kayfuns are perfect. Both my mini Nautilus and another are a bit all over the shop.

Problem solved it was actually nuthing to do with the battery at all a couple people was saying the 20watt is not as good but tbh since I've had them they've been amazing! Not had any problems with them what so ever the problem was within the aerotank where theirs a little scree holding the air flow adjuster from sliding about that was just abit of a big screw compared to the one that came with the other tank so filed it down a little to stop it hitting the 510 adaptor threads and now works fine! So thanks for help guys Appriciate it :)

Slightly off topic, but to the powers that be... I do some electronics work and have wondered, do you all think putting electrolytic silicon on the 510 pin would be an issue? In my mind it would only guarantee a good connection. And BTW I mean the smallest dab on the tank pin. Or am I just over thinking it?
