Recently just started on RBAs...
Currently using Uwell crown tank and smok xcube2

Built a 24awg Kanthal around 6-7 micro coils with 0.56 ohms. Did S-Wicking and ran it on 25-30W but I just get minor flavor and occasionally some burnt taste or metallic taste...

( currently using Mango Lassi btw, 50/50 )

Need advice from anyone to help improve my build for more flavor and less burnt/metallic taste

THANKS!

I guess u are using the S-wick after watching the You-Tube video. S-Wick may cause the bend area too be too packed if not done properly, thus the liquid cannot flow easily. Try normal wicking (Fluffy end), this can help improve "juice flow''

Wicking: Generally it is less wick = more juice flow.

And remember to "prime" your wick with juice before first fire

My aim of wicking is have the juice supply as fast as possible to the coil, rather than hold as much juice as possible.

My older build to illustrate the 'fluff'

I been using s-style wicking since day 1 I use Uwell Crown and i can chain vape whithout a problem. As someone say, might be the cotton a bit tight as not enough juice go through. When you push in the cotton don't push to hard but just enough to cover the hole.

Just checking how you build yours? What awg and diameter? I'm using 2.5mm but the cotton is damn hard to get it through thinking if I should make it bigger haha

Bro, u just found ur problem! too much wick! u should be able to move the wick in the coil. snug but not tight. basically u can move the wick without the coil moving

All types of coils, do not compact too much cotton. It will create a burnt taste

Twist roll the tip of the cotton, once it pass thru the coil, thread it thru, if it is too tight, remove some cotton strands and rewick again, juice it up and let it rest for a minute or so

A less compact wick will allow juice to flow into the coil. If it is too loose, it will be flooded
