Went from 510 joyetech starter kit, to Ego-C Twist within 2 weeks

now I'm looking at either ZMAX or EVIC (lol i know i'm pretty addicted already)

my buddy has Zmax (which he really loves) and says that evic has alot of problems out of the gate...and zmax should be a good choice but i'm just not sure.. I've looked at reviews and have heard good/bad between them both

what do you guys suggest?

also i'm open to other suggestions besides these 2 models.. just narrowed it down between them

honestly i would like a provari but not sure I can drop the loot right now.. I'm not looking to spend a TON of money.. maybe 70-90$? if thats even possible.. i know i would need spare batteries and charger and all that junk too which will add to the total bill.

thanks for any help guys/gals!!!

The Sigelei Zmax is a good choice, variable voltage and variable wattage. Take a look at the Vamo as well, not as pretty to look at as the Zmax, but has the added benefit of using a single 18350 for a shorter PV.

thanks! i'll take a look at that one again.. i want to say i ruled that one out but i cant remember why now.. too much info crowding my brain today trying to make a decision lol

the zmax can use a single battery as well or 2 stacked right?

I used my reo so much that it has crazy wear marks. Bottom feeding is amazing. I unless you have a surge I would go with a reo you will not regret it. You a blemished one is a bit out of your budget but you can probably snag a used one with batteries and a charger in the classified section in your budget.

The Zmax has two end caps, a short one for a single 18650 and a longer one, about 1/2 an inch longer, for stacked 18350's.

lol @ the pics ... thanks for the suggestion but that isn't the type of model i'm looking to get.. the shape etc just doesn't do it for me.. maybe eventually after i build up my selection i'll look into something like that

appreciate the info either way!

Best PV under $100 IMO - AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Silver Bullet - Silver Bullet - Starter Kits

You can add this for $40 and make it VV - AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | The Kick by Evolv

Will last you a long time, Made in the U.S. and backed by the company whereas the reliability of Chinese made PV's are iffy at best and if it fails you're outta luick...

thats funny.. i immediately ignored the Bullet because of the no VV issue.. but i still don't know if that little extra VV piece will be a better setup than the Zmax.. (not that i couldnt figure it out, just not really interested in all the extra steps attaching to battery etc) i'm looking for something simple with VV .. if that makes any sense

OK...besides the zmax, vamo, lavatube or evic you also got the smoktech gripper or groove, varicool boxes which is what I'd go with, ovale v8 (which I have and love but I think is discontinued now) or u could save up and get a provari or reo grand vv. If I was you I'd wait a lil longer till you have $200 and get one of those last 2 I mentioned...you're already halfway there.

i know i really should just wait a little longer or spend the extra $ on provari.. the lavatube also looks really nice

ahhh soo many choices! lol

i just requested 2 over time shifts.. so If i get them.. i may just bite the bullet and get the lavatube or the provari mini (it doesnt take much to convince me to get the most expensive/nicest model since i do that with everything else in my life)

I was like you and bought a vamo. It's ok but I then upgraded to a provari. My vamo now just sits and never gets used. the provari just hits better than anything else imo. I get the same consistent vape every draw with it. My vamo was all over the place I felt like and was really loud and crazy sounding when I pumped it up above 4 volts.

errr lol... im still so torn on what to do...

if i buy the zmax.. i can afford a ton of extra stuff... another ctwist ... extra batteries.. chargers.. juice ... tanks etc etc..

if i get the provari .. i will be flat broke after getting it.. i guess i may need to wait a little bit and just get the best there is.. otherwise it may collect dust like you said

I just got an eVic. I must say I like it quite a bit so far. I know the controls are very intuitive and the vape quality very consistent. I am digging the VV set your wattage and go deal. I switch juices, therefore attys pretty damn often, so it makes the transition nice and easy. The menu controls are very simple and I like the fire button/twist button interface. It has gotten some rough reviews and perhaps for good reason. I have heard the durability is suspect, and if it is your only device that is a very important factor.

I got it for 100 even delivered. Good luck!

i'm glad you havent had any problems with it!!! nice to hear some positive feedback on that device finally lol..

its tough with a brand new product and honestly the model itself looks so nice, and i love the options it has.. but i dont want to deal with any returns if possible and i have the WORST luck with that aspect of buying things.. so i'm going to choose the safe path for now
