Short story, I started e-cigs a year ago. Went through the usual models (510/808/801/GreenCig/eGO and other variants) and settled on a REO.

Quit both vaping and cigs for awhile and now back.

I would love a juice fed system but realizing the REO even with LR atties sometimes doesn't hit it for me.

I still use my 5v PT and thats seems to hit the spot.

So hoping a VV will hit the spot.

After all my readings its between the Buzz or Infinity. I'm leaning towards the Buzz since I personally like the looks better (I lose things, I want something huge and bright). Are there any hardware upgrades on the Infinity aside the switch of batteries and the thumbwheel?

Also whats included in the kit? Which charger and batteries?

Also would love atty/juice recommendations. My REO was finicky with some of my dark juices.

I'm hoping to pick up a MAP tank if it ever becomes available and a few Fluxomizer/Clearomizers (any recommendations)? Also if I get the 510 connector would I need extension adapters? Are there any 510 -> 801 adapters? I do want to try the IkenVape 801 Fusion Carto.

Also is the storm tank mod worth getting till the MAP mod becomes available?

Also picking up the dripper so any atty suggestions would be great. I've been out of the game for a while.

Can somebody tell me why notcigs stock LR atties when they say not to use them? I'm sorry, was hoping to pick up a few atties from notcigs to stockpile but that confused m e.

If it helps, I'm strictly a fruit/menthol juice person.

Thanks all and sorry for the long post (or any grammatical errors). I'm still trying to catch up and there's a ton to read up on.

They sell LR atties so the people that can't get a VV PV for whatever reason can still experience HV vaping. That's why they made LRs.

I have the Buzz (2 of them) and the Infinity and not having to have to use the screwdriver to adjust it is nice on the Infinity. have had a Buzz for almost a year and it is the most reliable PV I have. It always works on first push of the button. Not having had the Infinity as long I still believe it will be as reliable. They both have the best customer service available.

I understand why they made LR atties. I have used them for awhile.

I meant why does notcigs sell them if they're not meant for any of their devices?

Hey 5cards, so do you perfer the Infinity over the Buzz?

Are there any 510 -> 801 atties? Are there different tops for the Buzz? There's a few threads mentioning it but I can't find it on the website.

They both have their roll. The Infinity is a classy unit and you look good where ever you go with it. If I'm going to do some work on the yard or in the shop the Buzz would be my choice because it is a rugged little beast. Once my voltage is set for the carto or juice I'm going to be using I guess the screwdriver don't matter that much. I see gas stations selling coke to but I never use it in my car. LR attys are still used by ecigs and I imagine that's why they sell them. I would bet they are going to be adding even more ecig supplies to their inventory.

Evil which you choose depends on a couple of different things. The Buzz has a bigger diameter than the Infinity, and longer battery life...6 to 8 hours per set of CR123 3.7 batteries. Adjusting the voltage is a little more difficult on the Buzz because you have to use the tiny little screwdriver that Notcigs provides. It's not hard to do, it's just not as easy as the thumb wheel on the Infinity. The Buzz is tough as nails...you could drop kick it into next week and it'll keep on working for you.

The Infinity is slimmer, sleeker and a tinky but longer than the Buzz. It uses a pair 14430 3.7 protected batteries which can be hard to find unless you buy them from Notcigs. You'll get 4 to 6 hours of vaping from a charged set. The Infinity was built for going out and about so if you are rough on your PVs the Buzz might be a better choice. The thumb wheel voltage adjuster is great, it makes changing voltage so much easier on the fly. Once you find your sweet spot tho you may not change voltage all that often. It's a personal thing...some folks change a lot, some don't :)

Please be a little patient in getting answers tonight...it is Super Bowl Sunday LOL! There will be some folks around later who can give you answers on your atty and adapter questions. I own both the Buzz and the Infinity and love them both! But if I could ONLY have one I have to say my choice would be the Buzz. Again, that is just my personal opinion since I can be rough on my PVs, and I don't change my voltage very often :) Here's a comparison pic so you can see the sizes a bit better.

From left to right: Big Chuck, Infinity, Buzz, Elegant (eGo knockoff) and a KR808D Second pic is the Infinity and the Buzz

Thanks Bov, I'm leaning towards the Buzz.

Sorry for the impatience. After having a cig after so long, I'm getting irritable yet again. Long road to getting off these things again.

Its just all this new info is pretty overwhelming. New vendors, old vendors gone and all these new cartos.

I totally forgot about the Superbowl. Guess I'm feeling silly now.

Was hoping to place the order by tonight.

Thanks

Bovina, which atties/cartos do you use? Which juices?

Edit: Can anybody point me to the extra endcaps? I can't seem to find it.

You will need an adapter if your going to use the Ego attys, cartos or Ego-tank on it. Yes they make 510 to 801 adapter. I guess Bruce at Clouds of vapor has adapters and he's good. I get my adapters from Good Prophets for 2 reasons. One I like the size. they have a few pretty small ones. Second reason is they're only $0.99 each which is all an adapter is worth to me. I'm not giving someone five bucks for an adapter that probably cost them fifty cents and then give up another four or five bucks to ship it to me if I don't have too.
PS I wish the Steelers would not drink before they play in the Superbowl. They must have because they're playing like they're drunk. Either that or it's really the Seahawks in Steeler body suits.

No worries Evil, don't feel silly at all! I personally use regular old 510 Boge cartos. I can't be bothered with dripping or fooling with the tanks or fancy new syringe filled stuff. I mix a higher VG juice and the boges run a bit cooler so they seem to wick it better. I mostly vape desserty type flavors. Since I mix my own I have found a couple of flavor suppliers who don't add a ton of artificial color to their flavorings but my juices can tend to be darker if I use Coffee or Butterscotch.

You'll find the extra end caps under "accessories" I believe :)

5C, I hate to be on the opposite side of you but I'm rooting for the Packers LOL. Roethlisberger can eat

Well I don't have my Infinity yet but I love my Buzz and I'm sure if I had to pick it would be the Buzz cause I'm rough on my PV's too. I have a 510 connection and love the Ikenvape 510 V2 Driptip cartos.
Fran has the right idea. Ikenvape puts allot of engineering into his cartos and attys. They are the best there are and believe me I've tried them all. The boge cartos are good too and if I ever run out of Ikenvape cartos I have a good stash of those but they are second in line.

Still backing losers Bo? LOL Green Bay is just that Green and I'm not an Irishman. But my home team is the worst in the league so I have nothing to talk about.

You don't need HV atties hun, anything above 2.5ish ohms will work great :) And I can also give a thumbs up for Ikenvape! I'm not a fruit or menthol vaper so hard for me to make recommendations for suppliers. I think Vapor Bomb and Vapor Renu both have decent fruit flavors but I haven't tried them.

5C, since the Patriots aren't playing I really could care less who wins hehe! I'm not a Packers fan, I just despise Ben Roethlisberger!!

One day at a time and don't pressure yourself! I've been vaping for a little over 6 months and haven't completely quit smoking stinkies. I pride myself on the ones I don't smoke, rather than kicking my own ... over the ones I do :) I went from 3pad to less than half a pad and after 38 years of smoking I'm still proud of that!

Juice is such a subjective issue. What one person loves will make another want to puke. No amount of advice will help.

I prefer tobacco flavors and I have tried just about every USA blended vendor out there and guess what my favorite is? Good ol' Dekang tobacco and USA mix flavors. All that searching and money spent just to be right where I started months ago. Go figure.

If straight up tobacco is your thing, definitely try the 50ml china liquids from Madvapes. At only $11.99 for 50ml you won't find a better price. They also offer a custom dekang liquid which you can choose custom nic levels and size for a very cheap price.(13.99 for 60ml size). These sell out quickly when they get them in stock.

I just thought I'd throw this in here as I don't like to recommend juices much because everyone is different.

Well finding suppliers that carry Menthol flavors are rare. So any info pointing to any vendor carrying it will be great.

Eh wasn't a fan of Madvape juices last year so unless they switched suppliers looking for other vendors.

I guess does anybody have juice vendor recommendations (that carry menthol)? I just want to avoid the whole menthol crystal issue. I look like crack addict when mixing the menthol in.

Who doesn't. Especially after that last deal he did.
