That stuff is so old and with proprietary threading... I looked and am quite surprised SI is still around, especially considering how little they have on their site at this point.

Not sure what you mean by "T3 bottom coil cartomizer". Kanger did make a T3 bottom coil clearo (no polyfill), and I think SI did get them made up with their proprietary threading at some point. But nothing like that is on the SI site now so I can't check it further. And the standard Kanger version with 510 threads has been discontinued as well.

No matter - you want to lose the SI mystery threading - real manufacturers got off any "it's a secret" proprietary bandwagon long ago. You are looking for anything with 510 threads.

For very basic clearos, take a look here and see if anything looks similar to what SI was selling: 510/eGo Threaded Clearomizers | SmokTek.com

Smoktek also still carries basic eGo type batteries in the size range you described - with 510 threading, of course.

Don't have any idea what that "Country" flavor SI sold was like - no idea where to point you on that one.

Smokeless Image is still a registered ECF supplier, but SI itself isn't really active there any longer. Still, you may want to check in there and see if some of their former customers can help you out in deciding where to head in switching to different gear. And with that flavor question as well. ~> Smokeless Image

Smokeless Image uses standard 808 threading. Well, it's actually 808d-1 threading, which is the standard 808 threading.

Most 808 vendors usually just stuck with cig-alike cartomizers. Very few ever carried anything more. SI was the main one. So, I'm not sure about getting anything comparable.

The only place off-hand that still might is cigeasy.com. Most of the decent 808 sites seem to be gone. Good luck!

You might just go ahead and buy 510 stuff and use adapters until you've used up all your 808 stuff.

The problem though is that although it might be standard 808 threading - it's a standard next to no one uses or produces at this point. And should you still find 808 threaded cartos or clearos you are going to pay a hefty price premium to beat that dead horse.

The last "recent" clearo I saw with 808 threading was the Kanger e-Smart - also discontinued. Only available on an "as found" basis at this point.

For a person that sees a lot of brands charging crazy prices for 808 thread hardware, S.I. are not a bad deal as far as I can tell.

The problem will be finding more of this hardware without entering the 'den of wolves' that is the junk & rip-off brands that like to charge $10 for a $3 clearomiser and $150 for a $29.99 e-cig kit.
..and my goodness... the e-cig world is just full to bursting of these companies.

The reason why 808 exists (as far as I can tell) is that it was a good product and many of the early cig-a-like companies liked the hardware as opposed to the even earlier thread sizes which were even more "it's a secret" just to keep customers coming back.

In truth, if you can find it, there's nothing wrong with it.

I jumped ship to 510 (this is a long time ago) and have not really gone back to 808 even as back-up.

I bought an 808 kit only a few months ago. It was a great deal.... but that deal was an entirely cynical move to introduce newcomers to e-cigs and then absolutely rip those customers off with expensive accessories and liquids.

Funnily enough, the worlds most over-priced e-cig battery (yes, there is one, it holds a special place in the world for having a 926% profit margin) is actually a 510.

Funny, what you learn over the years.

My first starter setup was from Smokeless Image. I didn't stick with them long, though. Within a month I was vaping Smokeless Image's sister company's AltSmoke Silver Bullet mechanical mod and a cartomizer tank. That was 5 years ago. I still use that Silver Bullet to this day, but with a rebuildable drip atomizer on top.

My recommendation to you is to concede that Smokeless Image is a dying company with out-dated equipment. It's time to advance up to modern technology with an all new setup. It's 2016, not 2007. Do some homework and update your gear.

SI sold a T3 clearo except it had 808/ego threading. I don't think that exists anywhere else. Halo makes 808 stuff and have a T2 type device they call the Triton but it's top coil.

If you like the Kanger T3, it's sold in a lot of places except with 510/ego threading so you would need to buy 510/ego batteries (so almost every ego style on the market today). If you still want to use the SI batteries, you would need an adapter which I think Halo sells. The adapter will look kind of silly, but it can work.

Smokeless Image commissioned various Chinese brand companies to make proprietary 808-threaded devices for them. Innokin made an 808-threaded MVP regulated mod. Kanger made an 808-threaded T3 clearomizer for them. There may have been other devices made by Chinese name brand manufacturers made exclusively for Smokeless Image that slips my mind.

Bottom line: 808 threaded devices have been dying a slow death for a few years now. Time to move up to ego or 510 threaded gear.
