Need help upgrading my setup to a box mod, details inside

I have been vaping on a Provari Mini with an Aspire Nautilus for over a year. I use 1.6-1.8 ohm coils at 4.3 volts. I've dound anything higher than that in volts is too hot and I don't like it. I really want to get a smok TVF4 and a box mod, but I don't know what mod to get, what coils to use and what settings I should use as I have only ever used VV. Any suggestions? I really wanted a Provari P3 but I don't want to spend that much on top of new batteries and a new charger. I'd get the Titanium Stealth so in total I'd be looking at around $500 and that's just too much right now unless it really is worth it with that tank

I thought about pairing the Kabuki with a P3 but $160 for basically a higher end Nautilus with P3 threads is a no go for me. I guess longer battery, better flavor and more vapor production is what I'm looking for. It would be fun to chuck massive clouds sometimes but I'm not a sub ohm maniac or anything. I really dig the TVF4, my brother is using one but he's a cloud chaser. I've been looking at the Sigelei 150TC. He recommended a Vaporshark DNA200 but that's a lot of money for what appears to be a cloud chasing mod that I seriously doubt I would take advantage of to it's full potential

The radius looks really great so i would take a long look, it won't ship for 2 to 3 weeks but i think its worth the wait. I have a mix of 2.5s, 1 p3 and a few hex ohms. I have been waiting for provape to go with a box :)

Theres a tonne of great info in the rta sub forum, i think the tvf4 has gotten good reviews and woukd pair pretty well with the P3/radius. I use an authentic kfl+ with my p3 ... Similar rta ... And its a nice combo. Vapinart.com has the kfl+ auth for 80 and it too is built like a tank. The tcf4 may have more airflow range. Honestly i would do a bunch of reading in the rta threads since there are so many tank options out there.

I would think the radius would be a better bet than the p3 now.. Can go up to 40 watt so you have lots of breathing room and could occassionaly moonLight as a cloudchaser. Nice short box form factor, and 200 bucks seems great with a 18650 too.

The 18650 on the P3 or radius should give quite a jump in battery life i would expect

I have a couple of the nontc 150 watt sigeleis as backups, and still use the minis now and again. They are decent quality, doesn't get close to provape quality but they aren't junk either. My order of pref would probably be provape, yihi, sigelei.

I would be willing to bet that you'll get a good 3 4 5 years + out of the radius, compared to a sigelei where it might but may also just do alright for a year.

Folks tend to just compare numbers and prices but there really is a marked difference in the build quality of my 2.5s and P3 compared to my other mods.

How big of a difference is the Radius to the P3?

Radius 40 versus 20 watts
Box form factor
Safe onboard usb charger which the p3 doesn't have
Firmware updates over usb too

I love my p3 but i do knock it over real easy with the 18650 in. I am looking firward to the shorter height of the radius. And i like boxy :)

You could always get the 18650 extension cap and a couple of 18650s in the meantime. I think the ext caps are 20 and then this is a safe and reputable battery vendor folks pointed to me on here:
http://www.illumn.com/18650-samsung-inr18650-25r-r2-2500mah-blue-high-discharge-button-top.html

Good luck :) its really cool that provape did a box, the only reason i got the hex ohms was because i wanted 25 watts and something a bit shorter. I do like them a lot but the radius looks sweet, and yeah their build quality is just off the chart.

I've recently gotten a vapor flask dna40 (small screen) and have really fallen in love with it. The battery life (2x 18650) is great and the ergonomics are nice it fits the hand nicely. I was getting ready to order a vapor shark vapor flask dna40 but now that I see mention of 5he provari radius I am torn even though it's a single 18650 (that's still good for a day of vaping for me) the provari I've had in the past have been stellar. The p3 connection looks really nice also. Ahh decisions!
