Just started reading this thread and i can say that i had the same issues with my ihybrid. I ended up selling it be cause i simply could not get it to work. Funny thing is i had a Zenesis ASH right after that and still could not get it working properly. Come to find out, i had firing issues with both. Sometimes my coil would burn very red and sometimes it didn't glow at all. I sold both of these and just kinda forgot about the whole vaping thing. I now have a Z atty pro and its like night and day. It fires every time and im able to measure out coils and find a good voltage to vape at. Im sold on electronic switches rather than mechanical. Just my 2 cents!

Just to update everyone, I rolled a dense, solid wick, and finally have a working coil!!!!

I can hold it completely upright, and even after holding the fire button for 10 seconds, no hot spots appeared!!

Its not exactly pouring out vapor, but I imagine that after a bit of break in time, it will improve.

No that I have a hang of this, I can only see it getting better!

Thanks everyone for the input!

Cheers!

Congrats, I'm glad you have it worked out.

Beautiful BC
I have been playing with it to see just what it can handle, and after a crappy DIY flavour at 70/30 (it tastes like those strawberry brains on halloween, a weird flavour to vape) I ran a tank of 50/50 HHV heavenly tobacco, and I literally vaped EVERY DROP out of the tank without having to tilt.

I just filled the tank with bobas bounty, and its working flawlessly!! No tilting, huge plumes, excellent throat hit, and a very full flavour. Ive done it!!!!! Got it figured out in under a week. Was a bit of a pain, but it nice finally getting something that caused so much frustration.

I rolled a 4" piece into a SOLID wick, slightly smaller than the wick hole to avoid shorts. The whole wick was shorting out on the wick hole, cause so many popped coils right where the wire touched the wick. A little adjustment, and voila!! Its just beautiful!

Cheers!
