So far I've tried many different coils. But all have lil to almost no vape, some get harsh and hot to the throat.. I've tried nano coils, micro coils, dragon coils,And even super nano coils.. I got a private v2 with a trident gold rda (clone) a 18650 efest battery 2000 mah. I've been useing 28 gauge a-1 kanthal and organic cotton as wick.. most my coils go from 1 to 2 ohms. The lowest I've gone was .5 .. the most wraps I've done is 10 wraps. Could that be the problem? I'm looking to produce big vape clouds but still safe..ish... Anyone got any idea's? Can anyone help me out?

Ahh ok. I always do make sure to put a bunch of wick. If I don't the coils turn red hot and taste no good.. I make sure my coils touch absolutely nothing.. and the coils I smush them together right after firing to get all the hot spots out and make sure they're firing at the same time. From the middle out.. I don't have any pics but I'll send some as soon as I get home from work. I'm really trying to figure this out..

what pg/vg ratio is your juice ? I used a trident for a long time on a innokin 134 and the best I found was just a single micro coil id 1/16, 8 to 12 wraps of whatever gauge you have to do 1.1-1.3 ohms, and have the coil right on the airhole with the biggest hole

or a nano sat on a very thin layer of cotton without a wick but you cant sit your coil to close to the edge cus the tridents middle sleeve sits inside the cup so you have to leave a gap, I think there might even be some circles lightly engraved in the cup you can use as a guide

I have notice building mine it takes some time to heat the coils with 28 gauge. Try less wick. Also get some 32-34 gauge and play with those a bit shorter heat time.
Twisting up some cotton I found that a tight twist that is about the size of 1/16 or little smaller, rolled between fingers tight (starts out about 3/8 loose) works pretty good with 28 gauge
