Need help with crackling noise

Where does it sound like it coming from? The battery or the atomizer?
Either way i would not touch that, just incase, untill a more experienced reader gives you some sort of an answer..

If it's coming from your juice vaporizing...it's a good thing. Means your coil is working as it should, but if it tastes burnt, turn the wattage down.
It's just a new coil breaking in and nothing to be alarmed about. As your coil naturally clogs up, the popping will diminish.

It's air escaping from your liquid as it evaporates, prefectly normal, should settle down after some use

Awesome thanks just put in a brand new coil so that must be it! Just got worried because the old one was a lot quieter because it was older I guess
The stock OCC 1.2 ohm pre-made coils always crackle and pop on my kanger sub tank mini but the ones I build (1.2 ohm w/ organic Japanese cotton) for the RBA deck do not, I wonder why.
The explosive conversion of liquid to vapor, that's a beautiful sound so it is.
I hate it when mine is silent...makes me think something is broken.
