I have been working with DIY for a while now and have gotten plenty of good mixes that I like. I am more into the bakery flavors. My fiance still has the occasional analog, and wants to quit completely using my vaporizer when she has the urge.

Only problem is that she likes the fruity flavors, and I havent been able to get them to turn out that good. Probably because I don't make them enough to learn what ratios on what flavors.

WHAT I NEED: She wants me to make a good strawberry colada juice for her. Im thinking, strawberry, coconut, and whipped cream flavors? I also have a strawberries and cream flavor if that would work better. I also have cotton candy to sweeten if needed. For a base, I use 100% VG mixed down to 18mg. Typically I start with 10ml of base and add flavors from there.

Does any one have any insight as to how much of each of these would come out tasting like it should? I think I tend to over flavor the fruits. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!!:vapor:

Perhaps instead obtaining a colada flavor and combining your fruit flavor of choice to that?

I made a nice mango colada primarily using Inawera's Mango and colada (Cocopilada) flavors...

Just go for it, lol.
Even plain PG/VG 50/50 ain't bad

Try:

5% Strawberries & Cream
5% Coconut
2% Marshmallow

Just a guesstimate...

Then you find out which flavor is dominant, and adjust with drops, and keep a record...
Flavors may change after a week, but I'd give it a day or 2 before filling a tank/carto.
Don't bother with EM, or just use a few drops, less is more IMHO.

You might love it, and the wifey may hate it, or vice-versa.
Such is life.

I might have missed it, but which vendor(s) flavors are you currently using? If it's TFA I could probably give you a bunch of ideas, as DIY fruity blends are pretty much all I vape. If it's another vendor, I could probably still make some recommendations, but would have no clue on percentages, etc.

If it's TFA and you want some recipes shoot me a PM and I'll gladly share some stuff with you. :)

If you have pineapple and coconut, I think a mixture of them ( I would probably go 5% and 2% respectively to start with and adjust to taste) with a touch of the whipped cream/bavarian cream/ sweet cream/ or vanilla swirl (not sure what you have) would be good. I'm just throwing it out there, haven't tried it but it sounds good. :)

Cheers,
Steve

G Mayberry,
In a different thread I mentioned Dragon Fruit and you seemed like you were interested so here's a link to a Dragons Blood recipe I've made. It was pretty good but a couple of weeks ago I made a varation of it where I substituted 3% Raspberry Sweet for the Strawberry Ripe and left out the sweetener and lemon juice. I really like it a lot.

Good luck!

One mix that I love right now is pineapple, coconut, toasted marshmallow and a touch of rum. Amazing!!!

And yes, low on the coconut. It is a very overwhelming flavor if you aren't careful!!
