Been a while since I've been on the forum so good to be back. I would like as many suggestions as possible from you vets with regard to MODS that you guys use and enjoy. In the past I've had the Kanger subbox mini, the Joy-e tech VT 60 W, and the I-Leaf I-stick 50 W. I just received my Kanger topbox mini and need to purchase 2 more MOD setups. I would prefer starter kits for purposes of simplicity and am looking to spend around $55-$80 max per setup. I'm curious about those new 75 and 100W box MODS so if you guys know of some good box MODS, I'm all ears. I'm pretty simple. I just need something that'll give me consistent, clean hits and a tank that is built solid and doesn't leak. I'm not big on the clouds, I'm more of a flavor guy. I appreciate the help guys, VAPE ON!!!

You didn't say if you liked it or not, but if you did; Joyetech just announced there soon to be released successor for the Evic VT; the EVic VTwo.

80W, added SS TC mode, firmware upgradable. Oh, and a clock, lol. There are some pics up in the old VT thread if you want to have a look.

Lots of other new stuff out there too though, and more to come this summer I'm sure. I suspect it won't be long before someone suggests a istick Pico.. ;)

I am in the same boat you are, was away from the forum for a bit and just started hanging out again, with all the FDA uproar and all. I have also been using a Stainless steel Kbox mini and VTC Mini with STm's for months now. Also just ordered a new Kanger Top tank with an Eleaf Pico. I chose the Pico because it can utilize all the wires, even SS. I liked Ni, but I hate dripping, so that didn't last but a few months. With SS though, you can build TC coils for tanks and they work beautifully. I also ordered a Cuboid, again because it can do all the wires, the price is right, dual batteries and why not....lol.

$350 worth of DNA40's (2) regulated to emergency use only, while these new $30 and $40 mods are pretty damn nice.

I don't know, it was ok but the tank leaked and the flavor diminished after about a year or so

Well, they've only announced the mod, I haven't seen the new one in a kit (yet). But you can just get another Toptank for it if you like that tank, and still be within budget.

I have no experience with the tank that came with the VT myself, but here is mine with a Toptank ;)

What flaws have you had? They haven't shown themselves on mine just yet. Only had it a week.
Mine seems to want to drop in VW mode, just a little at a time, without changing atties. Not a huge thing.
Then mine, and a few others are reporting, you have to time the "clicks" just right to power it off/on and change modes. Nothing huge, just have to time it right and be patient.

Yes I have noticed that with the timing of the clicks. Do you mean the wattage setting will change from 40w and slowly go down?

Yes, on mine at least, and a few other reports. It's just fine in TC, but I was running a Goblin mini last night, .8ohm build on it, set it at 22w. Later on it was down to 21.7, this morning it was at 21.5? Like I say, not a huge deal, just a bit annoying.

Well, I guess I've noticed that as well but I thought I was just accidentally hitting the button myself. maybe they can fix it in the first firmware update

OK, so it's not just me? I had another guy, in another thread, argue that it was all in my head! I know me, so I make it a point to lock it once I'm happy! But I've heard of it in other Eleaf products, so it's nothing new, and it seems the firmware didn't fix them either! Like I say, not a huge deal to me, but some might have a big issue about it.

This seems to be the thread for me. I'm debating on a new TC mod as well. I love my VTC mini and Pico. I have 2 VTC Minis and 2 Picos. I'm thinking about getting a VTwo, since I like the VTC so much. I also really like the look of the upcoming Pico in stainless.

Important things for me are
1. Must do TC.
2. Must be a smaller mod. -I have small hands.
3. Firmware upgradable. (like the VTC and Pico)
4. Removable, single 18650 battery
