I just got into mods and out of the begging e cig realm and I just bought a new Vision Vamo. It's really nice I love all the things you can do with the buttons and settings and control the voltage/wattage and all that other good stuff. But Im not sure which tank would go really well with that mod and produce a lot of great tasting vapor. Currently I've tried a Aspire BVC and. A Kanger Protank 2 and their great on my Vision Spinner but when I put them on my Vamo the start leaking liquid is flooding up the the mouth piece and coming up into my mouth. But even before this happens I'm barely getting any smoke at all and it's impossible to draw also. I've tried dual and single coils, I've also tried different liquids (thick and thin) and I have no idea what to do at this point... Is this a common issue with the Vamo or am I using the wrong tank, liquid, coil..ect. If someone could help that would be really great I feel really stupid investing this money and it just sits around. Thanks for reading!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Which version of the vamo do you have (there a 10 different versions)?

Regarding flooding:

To fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it or cover the airflow hole). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

I agree with Susan, on the Vamo series it will probably starting at 3.0V which is the lowest and basically if the coil isn't getting hot enough to burn off the liquid it will start flooding. Try putting it on 3.6-3.8 volts and see if you get a better cloud. If so you will probably have to dismantle the tank and blow out the coil as well as remove excess liquid around the coil port. I hope any of that made sense.

Thank you everyone for the advice it was really helpful and I finally fixed all the flooding issues :) I think it's the Vision Vamo VV. The flooding is gone which is absolutely awesome but I still only get about a quarter of the smoke as my other mechanical mod and I feel like I just need to put on more expensive more experienced tank? Any ideas? I heard the Aspire Nautiluis was a good one for this mod?

It's not your Vamo....

Vision DO actually seem to make a Vamo (I must admit, I was unsure) but leaking and other problems are not down to the battery.

If you suck too hard on a low power setting, leaking/flooding is normal.

I would use a Protank 2 at 8-9 watts, and a mini Nautilus at up to the full 15w setting. I wouldn't personally buy a full-sized Nautilus, unless it comes bundled with a BVC coil.
