I bought a clone of the original Phoenix and Phoenix V3 from fasttech. Under $4, figured why not. I got what I paid for, these slipped by quality control, and need some advice/help with the original Phoenix clone.

With the pre-installed coil, the ohms were all over the place. Rebuilt it, same issue. The problem seems to come from the center pin. It leans sideways contacting the wall of the connection. Is this causing the rapidly jumping ohms? I removed the center pin, which pried out a little too easy, and see the silicone insulator is super thin on one side, so it's unable to hold the pin center. If I pull the pin out a little and screw it into my ohm reader, the resistance stays steady, but if I screw it in just a little the pin moves and jumping ohms again.

Any fix for this? I vaped it briefly and really like the vape, but I doubt it's safe to use as is. If I get another Phoenix clone or the real Phoenix will I have the same issue?
