Ok, I've been watching youtube videos on SS mesh. I know to oxidize 1st then coil it however you want to. How do I know if I did the oxidation right? Did I do it enough? I got it red hot with a torch, then put it in water, then did it 2 more times. Did I miss a step or did I do it right? I have no pictures and I don't know if theres away to tell... This is my 1st time using ss mesh, and 1st time rebuilding any of my tanks (rebuilt protank).

It fires, no dry burns. I may be psyching myself out just not sure :) Hope I gave enough info...I'm gonna have to try with a liquid I'm very familiar with I guess.

I also have Bobas, and Gorilla on the way so I really want to know before I ruin what everyone says is the best liquid :) Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon :)

Your doing great so far :) just make sure after you quench it you burn all the excess water off, and oxidizing doesn't invole burning it to a crisp, just to where it's all black. If you've gotten it red hot your fine. Good luck on your rba! It's an amazing device especially when you get it working the way you want it. Just like anything else it takes time and beyond lots and lots of try's. practice+patients makes perfect! Good luck my friend and welcome to the wonderful world of rebuildables! You'll never want to go back just to any old tank after you master it.

Quenching is not necessary. I cut mine out, heat it till it's red while still flat, roll it and heat it again all the way around. Done.
