I have been vaping happily using a 510-T system, with Johnson Creek VG juice for a while now. My husband (a non-smoker) always gets jealous when I puff away, and has been saying that he'd like to get himself a vaporizer (for no-nic juice) as well.

I was hoping to get him a vaporizer that can handle really thick liquids in addition to regular e-juice.

Here are some qualities I'm looking for:

-easy, no-fuss loading. I currently load my tank with a syringe, but ideally it could be loaded straight from the dropper.
-attractive package and design
-ideally compatible with 510 parts as well
-very good vapor production

Neither of us vapes heavily... Usually just intermittently for a few hours in the evenings.

As far as design, I initially liked the idea of Johnson Creek's Vea. Johnson Creek Vea eCigarette Starter Kit Johnson Creek Smoke Juice

Pros: Very attractive, I think the larger body would suit my husband better than than the pen-style of my 510, Compatible with 510 parts.

Cons: Looks like it is designed to be used with cartomizers, and I'm not sure if I could find any cartos that would handle thicker liquids. -- If I could, this would be the ideal solution

Also looked at the Apex Alpha Ultramax with RES (Apex Alpha Ultramax with RES - YouTube), because I read somewhere that it was designed for use with thicker juices, however I don't like the design quite as much as the VEA, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to drip-tips, and it doesn't even look like it is still sold on innovapor's website.

Was also wondering about variable voltage systems? Perhaps a system like that would be ideal to handle the different consistencies of the liquids?

Any suggestions would be great! Remember, this is for a gift, so I don't want to have to be punching holes in things or doing any special mods. I just want him to be able to fill it up and go. I would, however, be willing to buy various parts separately instead of in a kit if need be.

Thanks!

Hi Rivkat. In my experience, Ultra thick liquids work best when using an atomizer, for dripping. Sincerely if you get yourselves a 650eGo class battery, a charger and a low resistance 306 atty with a driptip and you have the best(simple) option for ultra thick liquids. A simple LR510 atty and driptip works well also but, I enjoy the 306 attys specifically for dripping thick liquids.
On a side note a little Pure Grain Alcohol would thin that liquid out to a useable consistancy, begin at 2% and go from there until you get the consistancy you would like.

Thanks for the thoughts. Gave me a good starting point for my research. The S8 All in one device looks pretty awesome, but I'm a bit wary, as I haven't been able to find any independent reviews of the product.

I'm thinking of either taking a chance on that or going with a Twist/Vivi Nova combo, perhaps I'll also get a Kanger T3 so he can compare and see if one works better than the other.

Are there any other highly rated VV batteries besides the Twist that might be a bit fancier? I don't want anything quite as major as a Provari, but perhaps something in between? Also a little concerned about comments regarding numbers being hard to read on the twist... My husband's eyesight is very poor.

Also, wondering what the differences are between the battery sizes? Should I go with 1000mah or lower/higher?

If it werent for those so-called "virulent anti-freedom control freaks" this place would be just like VF. Your definition of freedom is actually chaos, theres a big difference there and most of us understand why threads like these arent allowed.

I dont want my freedom to vape compromised because someone chose to use illegal substances in their PVs and got busted.

Why hasnt this thread been removed yet?

The Op has removed any mention of (STUFF) along with her trying it out herself which is in fact illegal unless she has her own prescription as well.

I think its fairly obvious why you've come out in support of this and Im not going to continue having a conversation with someone whos brain processes are so obviously clouded and biased.

OK, I see your logic.

Talking about using a legal medicine is against forum policy, but making personal attacks against members with whom you disagree is perfectly fine.

Yea, I see what you did there...
