Hey. I really want to get myself a joye eGO starter kit but i'm finding it hard to work out what I need to buy to go with it. I have never got myself any kind of e-cig before and its doing my head in a little. I was going to buy the greensmoke product as it looks easy to use because its a 2 piece unit. but being in australia its a little costly to get the gs unit. any help on what I need to get with the starter kit to help me start vaping would be much appreciated thanks:?:

You'll be fine with just a regular eGo starter kit like this:
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

If you get that one, you'll be able to vape using the cart/atomizer method.

There are several other methods that are also available and you can buy the necessary add-ons to use them with your existing eGo kit:

*Drip tips allow you to bypass the cartridge and drip juice directly on the atomizer: Mods - Drip Tips
*Cartomizers are a cartridge with an atomizer built right in:
Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers
*The tank system allows you to store more juice in your cart and refill less often - you need two extra parts to do this:
Electronic Cigarette - Atomizers & Cones - Joye eGo - T
Electronic Cigarette - Cartridges - Joye eGo - T
*clearomizers/ce2/fluxomizers are a cartomizer without any filler inside that can singe and destroy the flavor:
FLüXomizer™ 510 Clearomizer : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
or
Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - C-E2 - 510/808D-1[901]/401

But, it's hard to tell what you are going to want to try until you start vaping and get a feel for it. There's always a good chance that you'll be happy with your eGo just the way it is. Either way, you'll want to also buy a variety of e-liquids (juice) in a few flavors and nicotine strengths - at least 1/2 of your selection should include 24mg juice.

Good luck!

If this is your first experience with a PV (e cigarette) then just a standard eGo starter kit and a decent amount of juice should be good to get you started. If you decide you like it, be ready to order more stuff (especially juice).

As far as vendors in Australia, I have no idea on that one bud.

Cheers,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your decision to try a PV.

We have a section here at ECF forum for Australia. Once you get your post count up a bit, you will be able to take with other aussies in that forum. I'm sure they will be able to help you find reputable suppliers for juice, etc.

I see you have a link to Liberty Flights. They have a 20% discount for ECF members. At checkout, you'll find a discount code box. Just type in ECF and it will take 20% off your total order.

Hope this helps a little,
Happy Vaping,
Paula

So let me see if I have this right! If I buy the joye eGO starter kit I can just buy boge 510 cartomizers to go with it then I don't need to attach the atomizers to the battery because the cartomizer is atomizer/cartridge in one? correct.

do I need to buy alot of cartomizers or can I just keep filling the same one? they are meant to be disposable. Some people refill the same one for a month, some people refill 4-5 times and then toss it. When YOU think it's lost it's mojo, you toss it. The generally cost (in the US) about $8 for a 5 pack.

Here are some different ways to use your eGo:

battery>atomizer>carts
battery>atomizer>drip tip
battery>T atomizer>T tank
battery>cartomizer
battery>ego cartomizer
battery>ce2 (or clearomizer)

the list goes on and on... LR atty's, different ohms, mega this, mega that, anything 510, anything eGo,,,,, etc...

It's a really versatile unit.

getpecked,

The short answer to your question is: yes, you are correct about the cartomizers. Although I recommend having extras on hand. The number you should have on hand really depend on you and how often/much you use them. I would probably recommend having at least 5 on hand and 10 would be better. They are considered disposable products, however that should not deter you from filling them multiple times. There is no set answer as to how often you should need to change them out as that is dependent on many factors (how much you use them, what juice you use in them, ect,). If vapor drops of drastically or its starts to taste foul even when its (mostly) full, then I would toss and use a new one.

Depending on your vaping habits, you could fill several of them up, charge a couple (maybe even one) battery and you would be good for a day (again, depending on how often/much you use them)

Hope all this was helpful and welcome to ECF.

Cheers,
VMS

Yes, a pack of five will last me at least 6-7 weeks.

Hate to get off the subject of the post, but we have any runners out there??? I am doin my cardio faithfully, and my endurance sux monkey .......Does anyone know if vaping can affect ur breathing??

I ride my bike alot in spring and summer and dont notice much, I am sure it does a bit though. I can tell you for sure that I breath a lot better when i am on my bike vaping instead of smoking. WWWAAAY better. Even if i'd had a cigarette a week ago and got on my bike, just horrible. As far as vaping, i barely even have to clear my throat every now and then.
