I have only been vaping a month, I went to a local headshop and purchased a Fusion vape ce4 Ego for 50$ (Looking back at it now I know I got ripped the f off) It's a small e cigarette with no voltage adjuster, just a button to press to get the vapor. I've tried a few different flavors, and now it's just tasting terrible, not producing much smoke, and honestly I've been trying to find out information on tanks and stuff but I have no idea what I'm even talking about I just cant seem to understand it. So for a beginner, someone who previously smoked a pack a day, what would be the best option for me if I want a lot of Vapor, good taste, and something that isn't plastic so I can hit some of the flavors from Mt. Baker? If I need a whole new e cig and battery, that's fine i just need help as I'm completely lost. Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me insane trying to figure out how to get my e cig working again. I really want to avoid clearomizers due to the bad rep I see them having. I really want to get into this and start customizing my cig, etc. But I'm completely lost. COMPLETELY lost.

Reading is your friend. I was exactly the same back when I had my ego clones and ce4 tanks, its confusing stuff at first. The more you read the more you realize its really not that confusing, there are just so many devices/delivery systems that people listing off all the names and such can seem like a lot at first.
The first step would be to clean that clearo. Just rinse it out with hot water and let it dry. Removing some built up thickened juice from the wick/strings will make a big difference. You may be surprised at how the vape returns much more to what it was like when new.
And, all atomizing devices do wear out. A month with one clearo sounds pretty thrifty to me.

See I can't really clean this clearo either, its a non rebuildable one. I was looking at the Vivi Novav2.5 rebuildable tank, would this work with my Ego battery?

Yes U can use a Nova but every clearomizer has its peculiarities, and the nova's have many...
and those CE4's are $12 for 10..NOT one!
and clearomizers are used my thousands and very common, they don't have a bad rep...
if ya want something bigger than 1.6ML, then buy a T3 bottom coil 3ML clearo...but the CE4 is not your issue other than it needs to be replaced or cleaned.. and $1.25 for 1 month and a CE4 clearomizer is pretty good...I really don't understand your complaint..

See thats the hardest part for me, so many freakin brands I have no clue whats good. I was watching PBusardo's review on the vivi nonva and he said he liked it, I just am overwhelmed

I started with a cigalike e cigarette like most people but was generally getting through 3 batteries a day. Then i joined this forum and one of the members (since moved on) recommended the vision spinner variable volt battery and a vivi nova tank. I've never looked back since and now am an avid and permanent e cigarette user. I've since got myself a vamo but that's not for you just yet. I can without a shadow of a doubt recommend the vision spinner with the nova for a step up to the next level. The spinner battery is pretty foolproof and you can play with the different voltage settings to find your own level. The Vivi Nova is a good starter tank and i still use them exclusively even now. They do come with their own little foibles however.Gurgling being the main one. But nothing that a good clean cant fix. The nova comes apart so you can maintain and modify it to your own specifications. I would just use it off the shelf for now though. It's a pretty simple device.I see you are in Texas so i cant really help you with a vape store that you can go to but you can get these products for about $15 for the battery $6 for the nova.

Yeah, choices are plenty.I use a Kanger T2, an older design, but a proven one. It is a top coil, just like your CE4, which is great if you enjoy the bold taste and warm flavor. The T2 has replaceable atomizers, which make it a lot easier to clean. Bonus, if you want to fiddle with making your own coils, you can do that with a T2.
If you're not sure, try a few. Once you find one you like, you can order more of it. I use 3 tanks now, but I'm getting 3 more; I change nic levels and flavors throughout the day.
I use Kanger T2, which isn't a new design, but it's a proven one. It's a top coil, just like your CE4,
I tried that video tutorial and now im worse than when I started. So I guess I'm done vaping for a while till I fully understand what I'm doing
If you can fill it with liquid, you can do the same thing with hot water. Just run it under the tap for a bit.
It doesn't have to be rebuildable to be cleaned. That IS the first step to getting your e-cig working again.
IMHO there isn't loads of differences in the various clearo's in how they vape, and I'll probably get flamed for saying so. The vaping industry is growing and more and more very very similar products come out regularly.
I's fun to try the "newest" and the "latest and greatest", but it also can be overrated and expensive. I personally like the CE4 as much and possibly a bit more than several of the newer names.
Yes, a vivi nova will work on an Ego.
Here's some info you should learn. Most "toppers" are made to fit an ego battery. Some will look prettier at the connection. For the best look get one that says ego threading or fits ego. The actual screw threads are what make it work. 510 and ego have identical screw threads.
No need to give up because of the massive amount of products to choose from and hundreds of opinions about the small details of the differences.
You seemed like you were doing good with the CE4 until it started wearing out or needed a cleaning. Just buy another one.....or 10.

Not terribly complicated... If your current setup (CE4) isn't too warm, and the taste is OK, stick to Kanger T2. Otherwise, go for a Kanger T3S. You can't go wrong with either; they're both easier to clean than a CE4 (which was designed to be disposable).
OP - don't be too quick to jump to something new. First try cleaning your CE4. That takes just a couple of minutes and should help. Be aware that when you re-fill it with juice, it might taste bland for a few draws until the wicks absorb the juice.
Many people are satisfied with CE4s. I have novas and evods (both are clearos like the CE4s) but really have real preference between them. Granted, I've only been vaping three months and that might change in the future.

Take a deep breath omnipixel, I know it's overwhelming but read what tearose said. You can clean it easily. Just take the top off, run it under hot water, shake it and repeat a few times. Shake the water out and try it again.
As for other devices, the vivi nova will fit on your battery - but if you can't clean your current clearomizer, you are never going to be able to use any other device. You can buy the best battery and best tank, but if you can't do basic cleaning, you are not going to have a very good experience.
It's an important step of vaping, learning to fiddle with what you have. Learn why it's not working and learn how to fix it. That is a basic but very important vape skill.
