Need Help!!!

Last night i was so tired that i passed out without taking my battery off the charger. Its an AW Imr 18650 2000mah. The charger is a nitecore i2. The battery doesnt feel warm and doesnt smell like anything. The charger says its full charged. Is my battery ok? Is it safe to put in my vamo? Someone help me

I think nitecore is designed to shutoff once full. I'd give the battery a check with a multimeter and use it lightly. If still unsure, wait until some more people chime in.

Your battery is fine. The i2 stops charging when the bat is fully charged. That said, don't fall asleep while charging

if you have a multimeter check it for an overcharge. shouldn't read over 4.2 V. i've done this a couple of times and have had no problems. nitecore are smart chargers and are supposed to stop charging when done unlike cheap chargers that continue to trickle that can result in an overcharge. its what i use and it hasn't let me down yet. good luck.

I leave mine on the charger overnight every single night and have had zero issues, and my batteries last all day for the most part. (Even in my mech with a 1.3 ohm coil)

My charger is designed to shutoff when the batteries are full.

Man i was ready to call a bomb squad to my house before i put the battery in my mod. Thank you guys so much you guys are the best That being said i wont abuse my charger ill only charge it overnight if i cant charge it in the morning, and yes i will try not to fall asleep charging my battery

You should be fine. The nitecore does shut off when a battery is fully charged.

I must admit I never leave batteries charging un-attended, but that's just me airing on the side of caution. The Vamo does have a protection circuit built in too, so there shouldn't be a problem using the battery in it.

If you have not done it yet, get the manual for your charger and read it. This should go without saying. There is no excuse for not understanding your equipment, how it works, what its features are and what maintenance it requires. I am not trying to be mean, but ignorance could cost you your house or worse, someones life including your own.
