so I just bought a 50 watt eleaf with a herakles tank... When I have the setting below 25 watts I can't taste anything... When I go higher I can't handle the hit... I have never " lung " hit anything but with the air flow on the herakles I don't have a choice! Will I adjust or do I need a different setup?

I had the same experience when I got my first RTA, a Lemo V1. When I first tried it, I don't know if I got any flavor or not, because all I did with cough. With some helpful suggestions from people here, I adjusted the air flow way down and rebuilt it to 1.4, which made all the difference. I've since built it from .5 to 1.8, and still prefer 1.3-1.4.

I've had the same problem lately.

It could be Vaper's tongue.

Here's some suggestions I received:

Drink more water
Change flavor profiles (go from fruit to coffee, or sweet) I'm picky for my fruit flavors though
Mix flavors (my present cure)
Sniff fresh ground coffee (never tried)
Vape unflavored (trying soon)

I'm still changing tanks and flavors often to get the flavor (multiple times a day).

I just wish my Bombies Seven Seas would taste the way it did when I started with a iClear 16 3 months ago.

Most of these subΩ clearomizers are made for direct lung inhaling and higher wattage. The coil diameter is very large and many of these tanks have such wide open airflow (even when closed down) you cannot M2L.

Here's a written review on the Herakles. Herakles Sub Ohm Tank By Sense Review | TBEC Review

Unless you can get to the point where you can direct lung inhale (and like higher wattage), you would be better off with a different tank.

The Aspire Triton (using the 1.8Ω factory coil) is great for M2L. Aspire Triton Review - Top Filling Sub Ohm Tank

What is your nic mg/ml? most folks cut it by at least half when going to a high airflow sub ohm resistance set up. That may be why it feels like too much / hard for you to handle.
Most of the newer subohm tanks/ clearo's are designed for direct lung hits.

The .6Ω heads have a recommended w range of 50w - 75w, IMO,they're going to be lack luster in flavor below 40w.
VG improves vapor but mutes flavor.
PG carries flavor better.

Ok. So I still bought a 12 Nic level juice with 70 vg.. Probably not a good choice

yeah - 12mg nic on a sub ohm coil (esp if you were using same nic level on non sub ohm coil) can kind of clean your clock, lol

i dropped from 12mg to 6mg when i started using sub ohm tanks/ coils
