hello..Im Nick..i just bought the eleaf istick 100w tc mod and panasonic ncr 18650 3400mah batteries..i vape for about 9 months.i know some staff but the only question so far if you could anwer me please before i do something i dont know is if my panasonic batteries (not protected it said) are good or maybe good enough to work on my mod..i dont want it to explode in my face or something..please can you give me some help and tips?

im no also no expert and personally don't have that device but the istick 100w tc is a regulated device should have built in protection to protect from shorts and from the device working with a coil that is below the devices operating range .
It does. But it has no protection against under spec batteries. If we assume the mod kicks out batteries as discharged at 3.2 volts (that's pretty common) the minimum voltage available to the board is 6.4V. 100W at 6.4V draws 15.6 amps, well over twice what the batteries can supply. That mod needs 20A batteries. It is possible a circuit could be built that calculates voltage sag under load and figures battery ampacity from there, but it won't be in a mod of the price of the iStick. Using those batteries risks a vent.
