My name is Shell and I am looking to get into the E-cig business.
The problem is that I don't know anything about how to start a business.
I live in Cheyenne Wyoming where we only have one cigarette company and they sell e-cigs, but only a few cheaper brands, and honestly they are over pricing the e-cigs to where it will deter people to vape them instead of cigarettes.
What I would love to do is start a business here in Cheyenne where I could first start out of my home and make the city knowledgeable about this healthier alternative, then later be able to open up a small shop to where I can sell them.
I know that starting off in a mall is way to start things off, but there is already a kiosk in our mall. I loved trying it, but quickly walked away because of the price he was charging.
What I am wanting to know:
1) What is the cost to get started? (I am wanting to carry a couple of models at first with a lot of different brands, and different flavors of e-juice, face it we all have different taste buds.)
2) How much stock did you all start off with at first?
3) Would passing out pamphlets to businesses around our town work to get sales started? (did you have success with this, or did this turn out to be a just extra work for nothing?)
I am looking to in the future to have a website, but really with all the businesses that are online and already shipping, I see no reason to do this (well until I start making my own juice in the future.)
I am still doing tons of research on the different e-cigs out there, and learning more and more everyday.
