My Fiance is looking for a dual battery mod. He doesn't like the fire bar on my Alien and he want it to go up to at least 200 watts even though he isn't going to go that high. It also has to be a reasonable price, nothing over 65 dollars please.

He is currently eyeing the istick Pico Dual, Smoant Battlestar, and the sigelei Fuchai 213 plus.

Eleaf iStick Pico Dual 200W TC Box Mod

$16.99 each for Pico Dual's. $5 flat rate shipping for under $50 - free for over $50

At that price you can get 2 ;)

I actually love my Pico Dual. Don't know why it's not very popular.
I bought one because I'm clumsy and knock my mods over all the time. The Dual is nice and stable.

I like the IPV-5, it's pretty durable and user friendly. It has two batteries, I assume it can go up to 200 though I'd never push it that far personally. I think I've dropped it infinity times.

It's neither gorgeous nor special, it just holds up well. I do like the feel of it and it's not to heavy, but heavy enough that it's pretty stable if I put it down.

    Tesla Nano 120W Steampunk.

    /end thread. :D

It is an inexpensive (but looks expensive) beautiful mod, with a genius on/off switch (no 5 clicks), is solidly built, does temperature control and TCR, and normal, soft, hard and user modes, BUT it only goes to 120 watts. I don't know if your fiance is a stickler for that, so I wanted you to be aware. I love them and have 3 of them! Despite the size and weight, it is surprisingly comfortable to hold.

I guess I just don't get the need for anything over 100W unless you're a member of the "Clouds, Bro!" club.

I bounce around between 40 and 45W and that has been more than enough for me. I couldn't fathom going over 50W. Even at 40W this thing does a good job of clouding up my living room.

i've gotta second Debbie's recommendation. i've had my Tesla Nano 120 for about a week now and it works so well i'm gonna get a second one. no it doesn't go to 200w but as Debbie said it's a solidly built mod. and it looks, acts, and feels like it cost much more than the $55 i paid for it.

Sigelei Kaos spectrum fits the bill

My vote is for the steampunk too but like above for 200 watts I'd say a 3 battery mod.
I've had an rx2/3 but am in the middle of pulling teeth with customer service atm. I'd say no on wismec.
And a no to sigelei, besides their reputation problem I think the 213 only does 160 watts if I remember right.
I know I'm extremely late to this, even though it is my thread :facepalm: But I know dual battery mods really aren't supposed to go up to 200 watts and I think 160 is too much for him anyway but I just wanted one for him that he wouldn't max out the mod at 150 (if he is so inclined to go that high). We are using the Innokin Scion tanks and they are rated at up to 200 even though I only vape 150. His mod only allows him to get to 70 watts so he is using the .5 ohm coils rated for 70-110. He likes my coils better and is using my H-Priv right now.

But anywho.. He has decided on the dual Pico. But *I* on the other hand am taking all your recommendations into consideration for me a new mod. I'm using the Alien right now and realized with the same set of Married batteries and tank, that the H-Priv hits better than my Alien. Don't get me wrong, I love my Alien but I realize now that it doesn't perform on the same exact setting as well as the H-Priv. So i am looking into a new mod for me, or I might stick with the H-Priv when Fiance gets his new Mod.

I don't know if you've got the Alien maxed out, but you could just turn up the power on it so it vapes the same as the H-Priv (or turn down the H-Priv so it vapes like the Alien :)). After all, it may be that the H-Priv is outputting high and the Alien is actually more accurate.

Then again, new mods are always cool :thumb:

Well I like the power the H-Priv has. I mean, I literally set them on the same exact settings, Use the same pairs of batteries, and the same tank/ohms, but the H-Priv has a better reaction than the Alien. I set it anywhere from 130-150 watts, depending on what juice I'm vaping on. I don't know why but the H-Priv just performs better. Its weird. Oh and they are both updated all the way. :)

I'm a 10W vaper. My Pico Dual has been great for the 3 months I've owned it. I swap back and forth between the Dual and the Alien 220W.

Wattage and vape quality vary between mods. You have to wonder about the algorithms used in different mods. Just set it where you like it and vape.

If you are vaping in TC mode, compare and adjust the TCR setting. They come set at different values depending on what the manufacturer likes. My Pico Dual came in at 120 and I bumped it down to 92 and that fixed the hot vape. The Alien 200W doesn't go below 15W in TC mode, so I vape it at 10W in Power mode. I might need to change it to a lower TCR number to vape at 15W.

It's all about fine tuning & can be quite fun. I like messing around with things :)
