I've started with the 510 kit and I like it. Now I want more. I was going to get a 510 mega battery, more attys, drip tip, and some more juice. I've seen however, many people recommending the Riva. I saw it is compatible with 510 atty. So...should I get 510 mega battery or Riva kit? Pros/Cons??? Should I get a Riva kit or can I just get a Riva battery to use with my 510 attys? Any help appreciated.

You can charge the Riva on a regular 510 charger, you need an adapter and I don't recommend it as it takes too long to charge. Probably cheaper to buy the kit instead of just battery and charger but either way will work. Get the usb fast charger to charge Riva or Ego batteries faster.

You have been bitten by the bug :)

Could I just buy the Riva battery or do I need the whole kit? Does the mega 510 battery last as long as the Riva?

No The 510 mega battery is (I believe) 280 mAh. (miliamp hours) whereas the Riva battery is 750 mAh. Big difference.
If you can get a Riva kit for $50.00 or less you might as well go for it. The kit comes with 2 batteries, 2 attys, a cone and a charging kit. If you bought 2 batts, a cone and a charger seperately it would cost more than $50.00. Might as well get a couple attys in the deal. You can always use attys.

Thanks for all the info. I've done a lot more research and I'm either going to get a Riva or a Hello 016. Decisions, decisions.

I'm still rather new to the vaping world, but I currently use the Riva and absolutely love it....TH is awesome where ya get a nice kick but not overwhelming, vapor clouds come out huge (which is one of the things keeping me away from analogs) and I get good flavor as compared to my first 510 and my 905 mod (both a bit weaker to me and my experience all the way around). I don't have personal experience with the hello 016 but hear there are extremely similar to the eGos. My friend that turned me on to vaping uses the eGo and it has a slight more full flavor to me but not as much TH or vapor production. This is all just my personal experience/opinion and what not, hope it helps. GL and happy vaping!

How long does your Riva last Dreamscape, before you have to recharge? I definitely needs loads of vapor and I really need good flavor (not getting the flavor I want so far with my 510).

I love to vape all day long and I get a minimum of 1 day before I have to switch batteries usually I get a good day and a hlaf though. :D

If you arent concenrned about size - get a Buzz - you can vary the voltage (from 3-6v basically) which I have to say is not only neat but awesome lol. Its a little heavy for me (being a girl lol) to tote around while Im out (I use my eGo for that) but I have to say the Buzz has pretty much replaced ALL my 'indoor' PV and PT.

Thanks Dreamskape for the info. I haven't used the LR atties. I'll have to try them. CaptJay, I've seen a lot of buzz about the Buzz. This seems very intimidating to me because I don't really understand the voltage stuff and I don't know what I'd do with something that you can vary the voltage. Can you give me the pros of the Buzz? I'm going to have to do some more research.

Honestly I wasn't sure how I'd deal with the variable voltage thing either - I just liked the idea of having options, however, since Ive had it Ive become much braver (lol) and am turning the little screw for each juice to get a 'sweet spot' (a point at which the juice tastes best). Every juice I use now I fiddle with the little 'tuner' to get the best taste (no more burnt or even slightly burnt tastes, no more half hearted flavors) The little screw wont turn unless you turn it so its not like a switch; theres a tiny screwdriver that comes with the Buzz to turn the screw with. Its super easy to do (I'm not great at gadgets so easy is exactly what I wanted) and the screw is recessed so you cant accidently turn it.
The size was the only off-putting thing for me, although now i have it in my hand its not as big of a deal as I thought it would be. I was already looking at getting a GLV2 or the Buzz and all the big battery mods are big because they have to be in order to get the longer usage out of them. This one is about the size of 3 x AA bateries with the atty attached (height wise)
I used to use 2 PT at home and now i dont use anything except the Buzz - I'm really pleased with it, much more pleased than I thought I would be.
