[h=2]Choice between 3. Opinions please![/h]
Good day again!

So... I'm looking to get a starter kit and I only have 3 options. I don't have a credit card and I can't order online. These are the 3 units that I have found locally.

A "Smoke NV" kit (looks like k808 but the sellers don't actually know) $60 includes 1 battery, 3 carts, wall charger and usb charger.

A "Blu" kit (looks the same as above) $100 includes the "Case" which charges on the go, 1 (or maybe two) batteries, the wall charger and usb charger but no carts.

A "X-Hale" kit from 7-11 (no visible model number) $25 includes 1 battery, 1 cart, usb charger.

I really don't care about the "charging on the go" feature of the Blu... it's not that difficult to plug in a battery every night or every few days as necessary. The "X-hale" has the convenience of readily available carts. The carts for the first 2 I can only buy in a certain store in my town.

Mostly, I'm interested in your opinions on "Hit", vapour quality/quantity and flavour.

Anything you've got would be great! Thanks a bunch.

Check if your bank account has online interac, most of the major ones do. Almost all canadian vendors use it, most actually dont have credit card payment. Hopefully you can get something worked out with that.

Really, all those look awful. I want to say the blu kit, if it does come with 2 batteries. But its so horribly over priced, and no carts? You need carts. Other packs have the same problem, one battery isnt enough. You need at least 2, since these probably have a horrible battery life, needing 5 is a better estimate. They are all way over priced, 1 or 3 carts isnt enough. I really hope you can get something done with online interac. And if you can't, look into the possibility of using a prepaid credit card. It would be some work finding a canadian supplier that accepts them, but maybe some do.

edit:
Upon thinking about it for a moment... I think 2 x-hale kits is your best option. But that is only if you really really can't order from someone. Do anything you can to order it from somewhere, get a friend to do it.. you know whatever.

Thanks all. I've been trying to get a hold of one of the online vendors (because I happen to know that they are located in my town) for some better options...

It seems like all of the kits are around $60-$100. The online one I'm looking at has eGo kits, so hopefully I can get my hands on one of them.

Thanks for your help... I really couldn't be bothered to order stuff on line. Too much hassle.

Really? too much hassle? - unfortunately it's too easy LOL! I've got 3 different units now within 3 weeks - I'd agree w/the other comments about the 3 choices as not so great(I already have a blu & a smokenv...& they don't cut it.
I do have an egoT which cost me more than I should have paid( there's newer kits that arer like $42, Take the time & look @ what the Canadian Vendors have to offer/best of luck

I say try to make this happen online if you can. Like Albertbert suggested, there is always Interac Transfers, or just go get yourself a pre-paid credit card for an online order.

that smok nv is such a rip off, you can get a KR8 PCC starter for like $20-25 or something from www.CANVAPE.com. The PCC starter is its own charging case, you get one KR8 280 mah battery and two cartomizers, it is a quality starter kit. I hope someone is able to assist you with this so you don't waste a lot time and money.

Yeah, honestly, all three of those options are fairly terrible and I really don't think you're going to be even remotely satisfied. Out of those three Blu would probably be the most acceptable as, to the best of knowledge, they've switched to a 510-type of setup I believe. Nevertheless though that is way overpriced for a 510 kit.

I don't know where you're located but if a vendor is willing to meet up or let you pick up that'd be your best choice. Otherwise, ordering online really is the best option, and will give you the widest possible range of products you could order.

Agree totally with everyone. Also don't forget that you will need juice to with that setup as well. If you are really, really against online buying, search out a vendor that sells something you would like and then contact whoever you choose and find out if you could send them a cheque. It will take longer to get your goodies, of course, but ... CanVape has some of the best, if not THE best prices around, but they don't have juice on their site so you would still have to order that. If you want a one-stop shopping experience, there are many good vendors out there that can offer you both. Good luck!

Thanks again to everyone. I'll look at other options. And I'm not an idiot... when I say I can't order online it's not because I don't know how, it's because I *Can't* order online. As in, can not do it. Impossible. Not going to happen.

"I have no credit card *and* I can't order online..."

It's all good advice tho, and I appreciate you all taking the time to answer. The plan isn't to suck on the e-cig every waking moment, so I find it doubtful that I could kill a battery in a few hours. I can understand the battery having only a few hours of "continuous" use... but from everyone else I've talked to, they easily last the day.

I look forward to hearing what anyone else has to say. I'm still hoping I can get my hands on an eGo.

It would help if you revealed in your info exactly where you are in Canada. There are vendors country wide and I know many of the gear/ juice can be picked up/ ordered in person.
Good Luck, Vapoor.
Happy New Year.

Let us know where 'bouts you are. If you're around the Winnipeg area, I'll be happy to help you out! I have enough extra's here I can probably set you up with a good eGo starter kit...

Where there's a will, there's a way! My KIDS order online! How? They take their babysitting money, buy a disposable visa gift card (available almost anywhere in demoninations of $25, $50, $150, etc.,...drug stores, grocery stores, etc. have displays), they register said-card online with the entity who provides it so that they may make online purchases, and away they go! Simple, no pHd or credit check required!

X-Hale kits are GREAT!....if you enjoy inhaling warm, pungent perfume. I actually couldn't bring myself to vape for several hours after trying it. It just was the absolute WORST ecig experience I have ever had. On top of that, it isn't even compatible with anything! At least the SmokeNVs are 808s. The X-Hales are like reversed 510 connections (I can actually screw an x-hale cartomizer into a 510 cartomizer perfectly).

OK, order by phone or email. Pay by cheque or money order.

This kit will be of way more value than any of those options. Heck, just about any option on this page are better options than what you posted.

You did ask for opinions...
