I'm an American woman married to a UK citizen, living in America. I was a political junkie before I met my husband and since our wedding in 2004, I have taken up UK politics as well. This causes some friction in the marriage when I ask a question only to get the answer "Because we're British."
My question at the moment is why hasn't Cameron thrown that culture minister under the bus? I would think Cameron would want as much distance between them as possible. Loyalty is a good thing, but in politics clean hands are better!
Just to be clear, I don't mean to imply one system is better than the other. Comparing and contrasting is just fun! The difference between electing a party or an individual can be debated for days!
