Hey all, so I've got a friend that is interested in vaping. She's been using e-cigs for about a year and she'd like to cut costs if possible.

Here is what I know about what she's looking for atm:

Small form factor, little visible vapor, simple and inexpensive. I think she's leaning towards stealth vaping so size and vapor are pretty important. She has seen my setup, ego c-twist and Protank/T3S and that's just a tad too big for her. The throat hit is just about right using 50/50 liquids but vapor is a little too visible.

Any suggestions?

I agree with Boiler, a mini ego is about the smallest and least expensive one can go unless they use a cigalike. How heavy of a smoker is she? The problem with a cigalike and the mini ego is the lack of battery time: 3 - 4 hours typically.

Another, admittedly more expensive, stealth option would be the Smoktech Gripper. $25 mechanical mod that uses a replaceable rechargeable 18350 battery for over 8 hours per charge. Easy to carry a spare battery in a protected case should she need longer. An XL length (45mm) carto fits into the mod to shorten the length of the entire device. You can also put a clearomizer or cartotank on the Gripper, but you need the Gripper Extension for $4 more. Figure in the cost of a couple of batteries and a charger, too.

find anything yet... ?

I have some friends along the same parameters and I have been looking at these for suggestions for them

they remind me of 'mini' evod kits

- Kanger eSmart Mini Starter Kit - Pen Style Clearomizer
(they come in 510 or 808 so pay attention)
these really interest me, would like to buy one just to test it out for people

then I bet the shortest vape of all is this :
- eGo Batteries
- SmokTech 1.7ohm Mini Cartomizer

unless she wanted to go with a '18350' battery
- XCUBE Wood Mod by Oakley - 18350 [gv-XCUBEMod-18350] - $44.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

:)
