Hi all,

I am new to this forums and trying to find the e-cig that suits me, but Google has given me so many options that I am confused and don't know who are legit sellers and which one to buy..

I am Marlboro Filter Plus smoker, and usually smoke 1-2 packs per day. I just want to get rid of normal cigarette, so I started searching for electronics cigarette, this is what I would love to have..

1. Marlboro Filter plus taste
2. Normal cigarette look, it must look like a normal cig

Now after searching I have found that one of the the following 3 I should try:

Joye 510 :
Joye 510 White Starter Kit

Black J-118 Kit :
Black J-118 Kit (Dragon PCC)

KR 808D
KR808D-1
for joye 510, I will also buy the PCC, but in the second one its already there but cigarette is in black color which I dont like///

Now, what I dont know is that if I buy any of them, what ELSE do I have to buy ? do I have to buy the eliquid regularly ? which is obvious but how long the included liquid lasts ? since it is not available here locally so I will have to buy shipping cost as well each time I buy, what you guys recommend how much liquid should I also buy ?

The Marlboro flavor mentioned with Joye seems to be STRONG, but am Marlboro Filter plus smoker, which is quite lighter than the actual Marlboro.. can I find similar liquid anywhere ?

Is the website I mentioned above reliable ? should I order from them.
Please recommend which one should I buy and link to a reliable seller source..

regards

I think www.ivape.net - Personal Vaporizers, Electronic Cigarettes, E-Cigarettes, and Accessories still has some 510 starter kits on clearence. I use about 3ml of juice a day you may use more or less probably 1-5ml a day. If it has to look like a cig then yes a joy 510 or the Kr808 would be good choices. I am not sure of the site as I have never ordered from them but the forum has alot of suppliers and they wouldn't be here if they had treated people wrong. Check out these video and you may find them very informative!

You can get the Joye 510 cheaper $35.00 here: Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.. Also, there's one here that's a 510, just not the Joye brand for $25.00: Tasty Vapor. You would definitely need to order juice. And, you should eventually (next order or so) get an extra atomizer or two. That will get you started. If you go to Tasty Vapor and look at their $25.00 kit, you'll see that they have extra 510 batteries for $4.50 each. That's very, very low. And their juice is good, too. But since they're trying to get out of the hardware part of the business and just concentrate on juices, they are out of atomizers. Two of everything come with the kit, so you wouldn't have to worry about extra attys for a little while. Just a suggestion. The prices on your links just seem a little high.....

Mt first Name Brand ecig was a Joye 510. It's OK, but I moved onto an eGo and liked that much better. Finally I am now using SmokeStik batts(Like Katharine Heigl had on the Late show) and KR8s. Both are great, for cig sized/shape e-cigs. I wouldn't choose a auto 510 again. The switch is sound activated and is easily set off in traffic and loud music. Also just doesn't draw as well as my SS/KR8s. The SS is by far the closest e-cig I've had to an actual e-cig. I wish I had given in and gotten that first. They are pricey though, but well worth it IMHO. The KR8s are good too, better voltage than a 510 and plenty of parts available, as well as the fact that most of them are vacuum actuated instead of sound. The J118 is a DSE 901 clone, and at that price I would deffinately suggest something else. The KR8 can use DSE901 attys/carts, but the KR8 is a 280mAh batt compared to the 901 at 180mAh. Also, the KR8 is true 3.7v, where as the 901 is @3.2v loaded. I would recomend a better supplier, Goodprophets.com sells the KR8 for slightly less, and you get a 30ml bottle of juice free w/ the first order. Also, shipping is free on orders over $30 and Rob is a great supplier.

I too started on a Joye 510 and it got me off analogs, but I would recommend an eGO kit -larger batteries and carts, hence more convenient to use. I would also order extra batteries, attys, and empty carts. I would also recommend that you go to a juice supplier like FreedomSmokeUSA and buy several small bottles of juice in flavors that you think you might like so that you will have a variety to try out before you buy large quantities.

I guess most newbies have to go through this "it must look like a cigarette" thing. Eventually all learn that the less it looks like the real thing, the better the performance by a mile. Plus why or why do you want people to think you still smoke cigarettes. I enjoy the positive comments about no longer smoking since my PV looks nothing like the real thing.

The 510 isn't bad except for the terrible battery life. You'll need a lot of batteries. I would suggest at least getting an eGo. And if you stick with it and enjoy vaping, give yourself a month or so, and then you will be asking about the better PV's with the better batteries. (but they don't look like an analog)

thanks guys - you are awesome, really thanks..

I think this is the best option for me "SmokeStik Royale Starter Kit" thanks lowthud..

one last question though, price is not my main concern, but is "Smokestik" better than Joye 510 ? although Smokestick looks really nice and the case and everything I just loved it, but am asking since I am heavy smoker and dont want to buy both :d//

regards

Edit : I have also seen Blu Cigs, is it comparatively good ?

BTW, if you want a PCC rebelvapor sells a RN4081 PCC for $5. I bought a couple, they work OK for what they are-a cheap PCC.

Of the three you have listed I strongly urge you to get the 510. Its a superior e cig in my opinion.

If battery life is a concern for you, the eGo is basically a 510 with a larger battery. That said, the PCC really takes care of that issue as well, but the PCC isnt a quality item itself. The battery is spring loaded into it and held in place by the lid of the PCC. The lid is ...flimsy...and the pressure from the battery pushes and pushes until the lid doesn't close all the way. This can be fixed by slightly bending the lid by hand where the catch is located. But its a stupid fix to a design flaw that never should have made it beyond the prototype phase. Though that is annoying, it is easily overcomable and the PCC still does the job it was intended to do.

Do not however spill an entire can of coke onto your PCC as that damages it beyond repair and you will be replacing it. Yes, I know from experience.

That PCC is not spring loaded at all. And it is cheap, and you can buy 5 of them for the price of 1 510 PCC. It is a screw in type 4081 PCC, in a cigarette pack type box. Again, it works and that's about it. But seeing that it comes w/ a AC/USB adapter, you could spend $5 just on the adapter it's self. It is what it is.

My wife and I started smoking a month ago and we first got both the KR808 and a 510. Its hard to say what is better they are just different. Its like comparing Honda to Toyota. In the end you're going to get to the same place. I like the 510 and my wife likes the KR808.

Since I loved my e cig so much I am moving to the Buzz and my wife wants to get a personalized Chuck. But when we go out we are still using the 510 and KR808. It sucks for me because my wife doesn't like taking a purse so I have to have 2 PCCs in my pocket.

Oh and I really recommend a USB passthrough for home use or if you go on trips longer than 30 minutes. It really saves on the batteries.

Cheers.

Hi,

You asked about the Blu. It looks really cool, and has very slick advertisements, but DO NOT BUY IT! Blu was the first one I bought and was a complete rip off in my opinion. The Blu seems to initially give you 2 hits of vapor then reduces vapor output by about 90% after that.

You mentioned wanting it to look like a cigarette, I thought that at first too, but after buying a 510 and going through batteries every few hours, I got tired of it. I now have a EGo and love it. As far as the juice, I personally really like Tasty Vapor or Freedom Smoke USA.

I also suggest you read back at other post that LowThudd has written. HE has GREAT advice that I have found to be very helpful.

100% AGREE, and with the EGO I don't need my other 5 batteries in my pocket.
