I have decided to go for the Joy E 510 after reading a lot of good reviews on this site.

Now that I have made that decision, my next 2 questions are:

1. Where is the best and most reliable place to buy it from?

2. How much should I buy at the beginning in addition to a starter kit? I smoke a pack of cigarettes a day right now, and am hoping to cut those out altogether like many of you have done. How much liquid should I buy? How many extra batteries, atomizers, cartridges, etc...should I buy? I am looking for at least a month supply, knowing I will probably have to place another order in 3 weeks.

Oh, I guess I have one more question:

My goal is to start with the highest nicotene output there is, and then gradually go down until there is none. What liquid should I buy? I am looking for a tobacco taste (I smoke Marlboros if that helps).

Thanks a million. I hope to have one of those cool banners showing how much money I have saved and analog cigarettes not smoked in the near future.

I wonder if they sell the 510 at a local store anywhere? What happens if you order it and it doesnt work?

I would be VERY surprised if you could find a 510 locally. I've never heard of such a thing... but there's always a firs time.

If you stick with one of our reputable vendors.. you will have no problem. If you get a DOA piece of equipment they will resolve the issue for you in a hurry.

The starter kit from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. is hard to beat from a US supplier for $35+$5 shipping. They also have some bigger kits with either a pass-thru or PCC and 2 5ml juice of choice that work out at a good deal with free shipping.
Another place to look is Welcome to NHaler! that initially is a little higher in price but has a 10% discount for forum members with code saveinnj, $7 shipping on orders under $100 and also has excellent juices with a wide variety of flavors available. Both of these vendors have excellent service and your order will probably shipped same day if you order before noon.
The 510 kit comes with 5 carts so that will hold you for a while, but I would recommend at least one extra atomizer, and if you are going to have both 510's in use, an extra battery so you can rotate batteries on the charger. As for liquids, I think as a pack a day smoker, you'll probably use no more than 2 ml/day in the 24mg strength, 3 ml tops.

I had no idea. A few places I've ordered from asked if I had a "coupon code". Is that something that is normally shared on this forum?

Also, I got my 510 from rockymountainvapor.com for a pretty decent price and it arrived in just a few days. I haven't purchased much as I am still new but my experience with them and litecigusa.net has been quite positive.

They are both very helpful and quick to respond to email questions as most of us n00bs will surely have.
