Clumsy me, I managed to drop a Smoktech Telescope 3 days after buying it, right onto the switch and it snapped the switch...including the metal rod inside. Obviously not going to be covered under warranty.

Tried to fix it and failed. Attempts to contact Smoktech have so far been fruitless and the vendor is closed for the weekend (and I don't see any similar switches on their site), and I have not been able to find an appropriate replacement online so far.

It's a bottom-mounted mechanical switch on a tube mod.

Can anyone please point me to a replacement switch that would fit this unit?

Thanks, both of you.

Meli, yeah I couldn't find any similar switches at Madvapes either, and that's where I got this one. I'll try out Gotvapes.

Kay, I tried contacting both MadVapes and Smoktech, no response so far, but it's only been 24 hours. Maybe I'll hear something tomorrow.

Again, thanks for the thoughts, and if either of you happen to run into something, please let me know! Fortunately I still have a semi-functioning little box mod and a buddy is going to lend me a good one to hold me over until I get this thing figured out.

I agree with the sarcasm it's ridiculous that an obvious design flaw is being used to make money. The switch can break without dropping it by the way mine did. It won't be covered under warranty at any rate. $19.99 for a replacement? That's about half the cost of a new mod! It seems funny to me that some vendors went from proclaiming this mod as awesome to a quick revision of it due to safety concerns then carrying replacement switches for it at the price they are asking. I'll repeat at half the cost of a new mod. It's a design flaw and those of us who purchased these should be given a replacement switch at no charge and not the crappy original one an improved version that won't snap off if looked at funny. Sorry for the rant but the real problem isn't being addressed here.
