Need Secondary E-Cig Input

Hi there,

My original vapor king has finally stopped working so I ordered a zeus for my normal all day, driving, etc vape. However, I still would really like to have a smaller normal cigarette sized e-cig for when I'm out and about at night. Preferably something like the vaporking that won't go off every time a loud noise is made. I see there are hundreds of new options, what should I be looking at as far as reliability, smooth vapor loaded draw, and compatibility with JC smoke juice. Dependable, refillable cartomizers are a must!

eRoll is the best cigalike I've tried. Small size, very light and very nice vapor production. Comes with a pcc so battery isnt an issue. Only negative is that the pcc don't have slots for extra cartos so you will need to carry a bottle with you.

Hmm. If you need/want a cartomizer system, there are only 3 options I can think of.
1. simple 510 battery, good quality manual switch (I have some joyetech and with a 1.8 carto they are good)
2. eroll, although not for me (too much filling and I don't like the atomisers)
3. mini ego

I would get option 3, as you can get twice as much vape time as a 510 (only 200mAh) and fit anything at all on them from tiny cartos to full sized tanks.

If you don't mind it being fatter, the ego-c batteries are actually pretty small. The 650mAh is just under 3 inches long, and is what I usually use while out of the house.

Not sure what a Zeus is, but for a cigalike I have heard good things about the Volt, you could take a look at Smokeless Image. I believe Volts are 808 threaded which doesn't allow for much interchangeability with other equipment.

Not sure about Halo, have heard them mentioned, they appear to be 808 or similar also. Here is a good place to research the 808's.

To keep it simple you have an 808 threaded device in the Zeus from Vapor for Life, any 808 threaded batt will work. I have used with success the Volt batts from Smokeless Image, I would get the 78 mm for the battery life or get their X2 ego style batt 650 mah. You will be able to switch the atomizers between the two brands. The carts from both companies should be interchangeable as well.

I've had good experience with Halo (808 threaded)... but also think the Zeus looks pretty awesome, so I'd wait on buying anything else new until I used it for a bit - maybe it'll be so good you decide you don't lik/need the cig-a-like size any longer? The performance difference between the two should be substantial.

I ended up going with the Halo, I want to see if their system lives up to the claims they make on their site. I'll let you guys know. Considering I will probably only use it 1 night a week when I go out I have high hopes that it will work well as a secondary. The zeus will be taking most of the daily abuse.

got the zeus in today, this thing is a monster, it works really really well though. The smileomizers are fantastic, however some of them don't fit. I'm not sure why they are all the same dimensions.. I will get the halo in tomorrow to see how it works, im hoping its a great little e-cig that i can take around when i'm out and about. If it has a draw as smooth as the zeus I'm in business.

Thought I would update,

Got the halo in today. This thing screams quality. The draw is a little bit restricted, but considering the overall weight and feel, I've got a winner here. The tobacco flavors are a bit better than the v4l ones I got.

As far as the zeus goes. this thing is freaking addicting. I literally have to force myself to put it aside. I never thought I would enjoy the smileomizer that much. Additionally, the smilin menthol is the culprit behind not wanting to put the thing down. I used it all morning and the battery is still going strong as well as the vapor from the cartridge.

I believe I have found the winning duo here.
