If you ever speak with my husband, he'll tell you he's been living a Catch 22 life for 19 years. :D

According to him... He just can't win.... I jest. We both probably spend a little more than we should. When we get on each other about spending it's playful banter.

I sure hope it's the same with Skad and his wife.

It is, for the most part. We'll be celebrating our 20 year anniversary in July. She spends too much on jewelry and cloths, and I spend too much on computers and gadgets.

In all fairness, I do try to do nice things for her on a regular basis anyway.
I took her to her favorite restaurant Thursday. Bought her a cute nightgown Saturday. And she owns more gold and silver jewelry then a small pawnshop.

I'm not a bad guy, just a little obsessed at the moment. :)
Then really you have nothing to worry about! (ok well if you lived with me that is! )

ummm... ok... maybe I am the only one here... as she is making dinner... you should offer her dessert... and according to your signature... you know exactly what kind of dessert I am talkin' bout.

Well she knows I'm always open to serving her up that kind of Dessert! :p

If she's up to it, she'll be to tired afterwards to even consider being mad anymore. :D

Well there is your answer my friend...

After dinner, do the dishes... send her off to take a bath and then voila. Problem solved. She will most likely help you open your new packages in bed when it is all said and done... and if she is a real gal, give one of your new ecigs a try :)

If my husband did that, and I was miffed what would make me feel a lot better is if he would present me with a gift card to my favorite store. That way I'd know he knew he had spent a little too much perhaps and wanted me to be able to spend too.

But it's NEVER that way at our home. I get all the packages and DH is so happy for me when something comes. He NEVER asks how much anything costs and I'm just absolutely spoiled rotten.

However, I take care of all the finances so he just figures if I think we can afford something than we can and he never questions me.

Aren't I lucky!!!!!!!

I dunno folks, if my hubby did something wrong and went to all this trouble to make it right, I might be even more ticked off that he only does those nice things when he's in trouble!
Catch 22 here I'm afraid.

Agreed! Don't take her for a fool here... just be honest, apologize and ask what you can do to make it up to her, let it be her choice.

Excellent.

Maybe I should throw in a footrub and paint her toenails while I'm at it.

She actually has a VK waiting for her on the shelf, but hasn't tried it yet.

I have a problem kinda like yours at home. Husband argues with me over the e-cigs.
He still smokes analogs and makes fun of me. Gets mad over the packages. I try to hide them LOL. Sent them packages to work etc. He thinks that the e-cigs will be a waste of money. He thinks they are worst than cigarettes. He thinks this, because he coughs if he tries to use my e-cig.

There is no support at my house. He is fighting all the time over them. I will keep on vapin. So this I can understand. I have tried everything and nothing changes his mind.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that hon.
My wife has been pretty supportive for the most part. She's not crazy about the amount of money I've spent, or the time I spend playing with them, mixing flavors etc., but she is a good sport all in all.
Hopefully he'll see how much better you're feeling and open his mind a little.
