Need some advice/help please?

I know there is a "cartomizer" forum here...but my question is kind of simple...and I figured I'd have a better shot getting an answer fast here. Hope that's okay.

A friend is sending a bunch of XL 510 cartomizers to me in the next couple of days. All have the black wrap stuff on them. What is the EASIEST and best way to get that black coating/paper off so I can punch some of them to be used in a carto-tank?

They should just peel off pretty easy you will see the seam. As for the glue residue i just used a rag and rubbing alcohol worked well for me.

Make sure to get all the glue off love. That cheap Chinese glue will have you seeing pikachu riding on Ted Danson.

Put them in the fridge- see if that helps. (Read that somewhere here on the forum).

Once you're down to just remnants of glue, Goo Gone will remove any remaining traces - then just polish clean with a dry cloth and you'll be good to go.

+1 on the Goo-gone... that stuff will get rid of the glue, just don't get it in the carto!

Acetone (finger nail polish remover) and isopropel alcohol are also good for removing glue.
