I have been in search of a mod whith the ban hanging over NY. I got a flash light mod from old goat and it's great but I really wanna try a vv mod. I'm lookin for something not expensive to try for now. I kinda got my eye on the Eclipse and
Elendil has has a commercial company altering their design to native ego connector in a vv mod so it can use ego tanks!!!! Has anyone tried those storm tanks or map tanks? Are they better than the ego tank. Will they work with a ego? My dream pv but will take a month or two. So any suggerstions what a cheap vv I can try? You guys are always so nice and helpful plus you know what kind of juice I use lol

Thanx will check them out. So been researching all day. Got it down to 3. Would like to here opinions on them. The Buzz, The Infinity or Provari (provari is so much $ just to try tho). Really leaning toward the buzz

You are down to the same 3 that I was comparing before I got my BUZZ!!

The Infinity I'm told is still too new and it has some problems but I think they have got them fixed, however - still pretty new. I saw one of them in the classifieds just today because of it's appearance not being very good - some rough spots and such.

The ProVari looks very nice and I may get one some day, but to be honest - the more bells & whistles a MOD has the more there is to break. I have also read some posts that the ProVari's finish is turning some people's hands green - kinda like a jewelry-type reaction.

The BUZZ is not the prettiest thing that's out there but it is made very simply and very well, and the price is not bad either. Yes - you do have to use the little screwdriver and a voltmeter to change the voltage, but it's no biggy to me. I've got mine set at 4.2V and it pretty much stays there, but it's nice to have the option to change it to work with different ohm rating cartos and attys.

I mainly got the BUZZ to have an ecig that will work with common batteries that I could find in case of a ban. I am still getting used to it and I am not using it all of the time (yet) but I have the peace of mind knowing that I have one.

I will still use my Bloog, my EGO, and my V4L 808's - guess I just like to have options!

Oh - forgot to mention - I have a Boge LEO and an LR306 atty on the way! LOL

The BUZZ has been around quite a while and it is still selling well so that tells me something.

Also - I got the native 808 BUZZ top cap and a 510 adapter - the EGO tank atty fits fine with the small 510 adapter.

Best of luck with your choice! Hope I helped a little?

ok that is interesting samsmom, didn't realize that about the buzz...regular batteries, for real? will keep that in mind.

They are not "regular" batteries - like I mean, you can't buy them at the grocery store - but they are rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries that you can buy online at several places that sell batteries - not just ecig sites. Sorry - guess I used poor wording!

I am really really leaning towards the buzz How hard is to change the voltage? I am not to handy with these things. How big is it compared to the ego? God I am such a newb

The BUZZ comes with a complete, simple instruction sheet that tells you how to use it. Basically all you have to do to adjust the voltage is turn a tiny screw with the small screwdriver that comes with it. The voltmeter is optional, but you really need it to tell what you have it set on - there is a chart about the turns of the screw and the voltage, but I wouldn't trust that and the voltmeter is very easy to use and inexpensive.

As far as the size - I just put mine side by side with my EGO with the tank atty on it and it is exactly the same height as the EGO with tank atty NOT including the tank.

It is about as big around as a quarter - maybe just a little less, and it is pretty heavy but easy to get use to and feels good in the hand.

The Buzz is seven feet long and weights 87 pounds. All you need to change the voltage is a large screwdriver, an impact hammer, a car jack and someone to hold the things. But, it does come with its own wagon for hauling it around. The wagon is green. Quite nice.

Okay. I'll quit picking on you.

First commercial mod with an adjustable voltage without battery change. Built-in safety mechanism. Low battery indicator and shutdown. Built out of 6061 aircraft quality aluminum. Dual color LED for activate and low battery.
Made in USA
Manufacturer NotCigs
Dimensions 4.1″ x 0.87″
Weight 2oz
Material 6061 Aircraft aluminum
Button placement Side

It comes with a little tool kit that includes a tiny screwdriver, but I use one of those little screwdrivers for adjusting eyeglasses.

Hi Kelle,
I have 2 buzz's one a golden color and one is a peachy color. They also have black, silver, blue, and red. Voltmeter is available at notcigs also for 10.99. I have one and all you have to do is screw it in and press the button on the batt and it blinks and shows you were you are at.

Thank you so much for all your help and advice. Think I have made my choice....... The Buzz, now what color? Where do you get a voltmeter from? What color is you Buzz?

You can add the voltmeter to your order right at NotCigs. I got the kit, the voltmeter, and 2 extra batteries. The kit comes with 2 batteries, a charger, and the tool kit, as well as the BUZZ.

I got a Blue one - Salem has Purple which I would have LOVED to have but they were not available. The blue is an AQUA/TURQUOISE type blue to me.

Use code ECF Buzzkill (with space as typed) for 7.5% off
