Hey everybody, first of all I wanted to say Hi since I had just joined the forum after reading a comment on youtube that mentioned this place :D.

Ok, so I've considered stop smoking for a long time and I have tried almost everything there is out there, again almost everything :p. One day my friend pulled out this metal tube and started smoking with the LED at the end, which i think is just AWESOME, anyways I asked him about it and he explained it to me enough so i know what it was. I've been reading reviews and comments from lots of people on the internet and also visited a lot of e-cigarette websites and have read what they have to offer.

It all sounds good and bad at the same time since each one type has it's pros and cons. So I figure why not hear what everyone here thinks. I'm strongly considering to buy the Blu e-cigarette but have heard a lot of complains about the shipment and some that didn't even get it after being charged. The Volcano e-cig sounded pretty cool too but there is just so many I can't make up my mind and I don't want to end up with one that will breakdown or cause problems with in a week of buying it. So if you guys/girls :p can give me your opinion and experience to help out and point me in the right direction I will be forever thankful :D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You can quit as many of us here have done. It is not hard.

I would suggest you get a 510 kit from cignot.com

There are other suppliers that sell this same ecig but for a beginner I think it is the best to start with. It will more than take away your cravings for analog cigs..

Thats my 2 cents.. Im sure others here will contribute.

Good luck!

Well you just got here. Start reading and familiarize yourself with these boards. There are tons of posts answering your questions. Many seem to prefer the 510, just make sure you get a Joye 510. If you are going to buy more than just the basic unit you'll find LiteCigUSA.net has better prices and more variety and options than CigNot. Both though are 'Class A' vendors.

I would also recommend the 510. I tried a few others before I got the 510 but it seems to be the best. There are alot of post about the 510 and it seems very popular. If you don't like the battery life you can later go to a mod. What I do is have several 510 units at one time. I got a multicharger which holds 5 batteries at one time. After I get 5 units that need recharging I then charge them. I still have 5 working units available for use. This seems to work out great.

Beware of all the "hype" you will see on some websites. Usually the more they push their ecig as being the "ultimate" the worst that site is.

I would recommend that you look at the d510 and the kr808d-1. They are both very popular but quite different. A few members will recommend one particular vendor. Some are just very happy with that vendor but others will have "ties" to that vendor. You will find both are carried by multiple vendors so shop around before you buy. Some vendors will rebrand them under their own name which can cause a bit of confusion.

I have the Joye 510 but I don't like the battery life. It lasts only a very short time before needing recharging. If you get this model make sure you get a USB passthrough with it. That's if you are going to be near a PC where you can be plugged in to use it or you can get an AC/USB adapter and plug into that. If you are mobile you can get a PCC(personal charging case) that you can carry a spare battery in to keep charged. Then when your battery goes you can take out your fresh one and recharge the one you have been using in the PCC. Cignot has all those items. I'm not connected to them at all and they have a great complete starter kit that has the PCC, the 510 kit and a couple of extra accessories too and the price for all that is really cheap. But you can always look around. I've bought some things from them and there service is excellent. I didn't get my starter kit from them but I wish I had. I would have saved money.

I started with the Blu. It took 2 weeks after ordering it to get here. I have enjoyed it but didn't know how much more I could be enjoying it. A friend pointed me to this forum and I started reading. I found people really liked the 510 so I ordered one from cignot. It got here in 3 days(yesterday) OMG I sure was missing out with the Blu. Everything from TH to taste is awesome. I haven't had a problem with the battery yet but the kit I ordered came with a PCC so I just keep switching and charging as I go. My only problem is learning when to top off or refill. The taste is NASTY if the atty gets dry. I am getting a lot better and have not had the taste today.

Of course we all have our faves...510 was great, then I got a longer lasting batt mod to use my 510 attys on which is greater. I tried out the KR808D and now I'm hooked on the ease (cartomizers are refillable) and long lasting batt life, on the go and at the passthrough on my computer...it's all I use now...just my opinion, not tied to anyone...enjoy the journey and welcome! :)
