USA. State: Inebriated.
Stainless steel is actually one of the best metals for vaping out of. It's not prone to leaching unless exposed to some very harsh/abrasive chemicals, and it doesn't risk cracking from expanding/contracting due to temperature change. Also you can drop it all day long and it won't break.

Glass, on the other hand, could potentially crack under the temperature stresses of an atomizer, though I've never heard of it happening, and as @alcarl said, if you drop it, it's game over.

Hi and welcome. Stainless is a good material for human consumption containers and utensils, and it is fully certified by the USDA for this purpose. Keep it clean, and you will have no health issues. That said, I have both a Fishbone and an Aris Pro, both with glass tops, and I love them. There's something cook about seeing the vapor come off the coil...

if you mean like a glass tank then ehh I have a goblin mini I find them somewhat of a nuisance in the way that if you drop it easily shatters. other then that it's all preference I have a mutation xs and I'm assume the fishbone xs is the same as the mutation xs which means it's just a smaller version of it. I have a hard time building on the XS and it's too close to the coils for me so if there is spit back you will feel it. I think the xs has better flavor due to being closer to the coils so less travel distance possibly more vapor as well but I don't know if it's even that noticeable. just gotta be careful with how you build on small decks my delrin tip was hitting one of the screws and melted.
