Recently I decided that I would like to save some money by rewicking/recoiling my vision mini nova heads. So far I've watched a couple of youtube videos on it, but I'm not sure what type of wick and wire I need to buy for this. One video mentioned .20 kanthal wire and some fiberglass wick, which I have not been able to find yet. I've also read in a thread on here about using 32 gauge wire, someone else mentioned 32awg (not sure if that is the same thing or not). Anyhow, if someone can suggest what to buy and where to buy them, that would be a great help. Also, if you could suggest a video on how to do this, where it clearly shows you step by step, that would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance

For the video I found PBusardo's (taste your juice website) very helpful, under tutorials (sorry I don't know how to put the video into my post). There are a few threads in the rebuildable atomizer section that I think will be a lot of help, including the " different cotton for different wicks thread". I'm still a noob, especially when it comes to rebuilding, I have been using 32 gauge kanthal (discount vapers), and either cotton wicks (from cotton rounds 100% 'make up remover pads' that have been boiled -I believe xMackx suggested this), or silica wick (again DV) or cotton wick (JR custom turnings). Like I said, I am really new to this, and I am sure that others will chime in with much better advice.

Are u using a vv battery, or standard ego batt, orthe unregulated ego style?
For a vv batt, iID say grab some 2mm silica wick, and 32g kanthal a1. I wrap mine around 2.0-2.4ohm, and it hits great.
Using a regulated ego batt, ID say wrap 4 strands of .5mm wick with the 32g, prolly 4-5 wraps will get you to 1.8ohm.
The rebuild itself is super easy. Watch the videos on YouTube, and then just dive in... it really is as easy as it looks(as long as you have good enough eyesight)
