Need some help for start w/o any mistake

Hi there,
i'm a new fan of VP and i'll try to start vapping as soon as possible, i want to quit the analogues for sure!

First of all, i've been reading almost the whole forum for the last days, so i'm almost inside the subject.. i guess!

After all i'd read, i just decided to start with a m401/2 model. (1 or 2 will be because of the PPC size... i'll talk about it later)

So with the model chose i read some reviews and i think the best one is the "Intellicig Evo".
Here my points of view:
1- best reviews to this model (inside de m401)
2- it's in UK (inside EU, so no problem in Portuguese costums and faster to delivery that in US or China)
3- It's not that expensive compared to the chineses one from HG or AEC..

Those are my 3 points to choose the Evo.
but have some questions about that model. Is that a true m401? will it be compatible with spare parts for the m401? like another battery (to have stored, to use in last case if my other 2 bats drained out...) and will it be compatible with the PCC that could be found in HG ou AEC for the m401?

I guess that's the only questions i've about that model that i can't find the answer even after search.. and it does really matter for me.

but if somebody tell me about some store inside EU that sell m401's with nice price and 5-7 days of delivery time i'll be appreciated and will re considerate the EVO..

And what flavours do you recommend? i know everybody tastes diferent, but might be some flavors that everybody like.. such as mentol, chocolat, cappuccino, and so one, i guess.. i'ld like to buy some differents flavours to try out.. and where to buy it? Intellicig just have tobacco and menthol flavour..

Well, for now it's all, hope someone help me out here.
If i'm thinking wrong, or if you think in a different way just give me your opinion too.

Thanks guys,
hope to stay here for a long time!

(i'm sorry if my english is not the best one, but i tried to make it right.. hope you understand!)

Hello Hige.
I had the same dilemma when I started vaping about 6 months ago. I bought an NJoy Npro, then a 510 and finally decided to do a lot more research because neither of these fit the bill for me. In fact they almost turned me against Vaping and back to analogs. I use the KR808D-1 now. I also have a passthru and a Silver Bullet modified with the adapters so I can use the 808 Cartos. Do yourself a favor and research the KR808D-1 before deciding. You can get them at the following vendors:
Altsmoke
Nhaler
Vapor4Life-It's called the Vapor King on this site.

You can get a good starter kit for less than $50.00

One thing I have found out about vaping is: Research, Research, Research and don't just rely on YouTube reviews.

Good luck and Good Vaping!

I'd actually get a Joye 510.

They're the best IMO.

Yeah, I agree with brandon. I'm just trying to help you out.. I've vaped 401/402s..... I really got tired of bad atties 'popping' on me all of the time... and these atties add up & get expensive!.. (you name it).. and nothing... (hands down... I mean nothing) beats the Joye 510.. so, save yourself a lot of grief and money... I 'definitely' recommend you start with a ($40 shipped) Manual Joye 510 (no box) Starter Kit from Cignot. (Joye 510 NO BOX). You get two complete eCigs with a wall charger and 5 pre-filled cartridges. (I recommend the Marlboro high nicotine ones). The Joye 510 produces TONS of vapor & flavor and is the highest quality eCig out there for the Money.. again, nothing touches it... hands down. While you're there... go ahead & order some of their Joye Smoke/Tobacco flavored Nicotine Liquids.... 24 mg strength is a great Nicotine level and will keep you away from the Analogs. I've tried EVERYTHING and in my humble opinion nothing comes close to the Joye 510 eCig... (except for the Janty eGo and some of the more expensive MODS and what have you)... but since $ is an issue, as it is for MOST of us, then the Joye 510 is what you NEED to start with... and end with. You could also add a Personal Charging Case for $25.00 while you're there at Cignot too. (Joye PCC). That allows you to re-charge your eCigs while you're out & about.. and the PCC sort of resembles a traditional cigarette pack/case. That's OK.. you can THANK me later.. they ALL do.. (Be sure to tell 'em Eve sent ya!!!)

Thanks for the answers so far!!

Hey brandon and blondeambition, thanks for that, i was betwen the 510 and the m401, but after i saw those Evo's, i chose the m401, but i see that the 510 have a lot of fans. one thing that make me choose the m401 is the analogue's look like, that i think will be great for the beginning to make me think 'ok, thats a normal cigarette, i can stay just smoking this, i'll not touch the analogues again', but it the 510, that doesn't look like a cigarette, so might be a bit hard to leave the analogues, or am i wrong?
Btw, thanks, i'll check them again.. and blondeambition, those stores don't ship to europe unfortunatly, and i believe i'll have some problems in the costums, buying this electronics goods and liquids from outside european union.

for flavors go w/ what you think you'll like. My first ever flavors i ordered i traded off to friends. there will be a learning curve to find out what you like. everyone goes through it but you will get it dialed in fairly quick.

I that's what i thought. i'll make my learning curve like everyone else. thanks for the tip.

yeah man, that's really that, search, search and search again, oh and research!
i don't give to mucha attention for those kr808d-1, what's the main gain with those? and how much the battery handle in normal use?
Thanks again..

Remember he's not in the US - and not all the companies mentioned will ship to Portugal.
Tasty Vapor though, a juice supplier, DOES ship internationally so thats a nice place for juices :) Tasty Vapor

Yap, that's the problem, no everyone sends to Portugal, and sometimes the portuguese costums doesn't allow electronic goods and liquid go in without paying an 'high' tax.. sometimes doesn't compensate(?).. the perfect is within the EU, like uk..
btw, i've already read about the tasty vapor and people say good things about it, i'll check it for sure.

Thanks again for the answers! i'll be waiting to listen(read) some more..

I wish I could help more but I'm US and am not at all familiar with what you can easily obtain in Portugal. But if you can get your hands on a 501 or variant under a different name I'd highly recommend it.

As far as wanting something that looks like a regular cigarette and that similarity being somehow a factor in helping you quit analogs - I'd put that thought aside. Function in my mind holds far greater importance than appearance.

And your english is great. Better than many native english speakers in my country I'm sorry to say. Best of luck with whatever choice you make. The members of this forum will always be here to help. I owe them a lot myself.

The 510 IS a good unit, and it was my first, unfortunately it just didnt do it for me and I still hit the analogs. Then I got the 401 and have been analog free for 2 months. As for Evo... Do they offer man batts? Cuz I HAD to have manuals, the autos just sucked. But again we are all different!! Thats what makes us human. Good luck and welcome.

The 510 has been nothing short of amazing. Automatics are alright but the manual battery seems to just WORK like it should.

Thanks for your help, but i think i'll like warlike, first i must need something with the analogue's appearance to set myself free of them.

warlike, i think like you, i believe that 510 is a great device, and maybe better than the m401, but i guess i might need something that makes me thing that's a analogue cigarette to quit smoking, and maybe after that, change to other unit..
I read in Intellicig forum here that they start making the manual ones, but i don't see them in their site, so i don't know.. and that's one reason that i asked if the EVO is compatible with originals spar parts of m401, because i'll want a manual batt too, and the pcc.. does anyone know about it?

There are several benefits to the KR808D-1 1. You use Cartomizers which have the atomizers built in. 2. They hold more juice (a new Carto equals about a pack of analogs.) 3.You can refill them several times with your own juice.
You can buy up to 13 second cutoff batteries giving you a PV similar to a passthrough that you can take anywhere. 4. Burnt taste is very rare unless you just puff it dry. 5. Vaper production is awesome right from the start.

If you would like more info, let me know and I can supply some other facts and places to read up on the KR.

As far as having an ecig that looks like an analog, that will wear off very, very quickly. There are a lot of disadvantages to the super mini's that look like analogs. (I don't know the model you refer to, but that's what it sounds like)

I started with something like that and although it is working ok, I'm already looking to move up to a 510. I don't hold this thing like an analog and I don't puff it like an analog, but still got off analogs with it and I'm sure I would also have done so if I had started with the 510 to begin with.

I'm sure you'll be happy with vaping whatever PV you choose, I would just recommend you get something that the general consensus is can very easily be your main PV for a good long while. If you get one with cartomizers, you will have great convenience as well. My super mini does use cartomizers and they are very convenient to use.

Good luck

Well, i'm getting much more interested now in on KR or a 510.. :2cool:

Boyd, thanks a lot for everything, your words make me want a KR right now!
Just tell me something, like in a month how much do you spend in maintenance? i know that the in m401 and 510 you might need to always carrying a extra atomizer because they stop working a lot, and read somewhere too that the batteries might get some problems too. and with the KR808D-1? With the starter kit and the PCC it maybe last longer right? as the atomizer is in the carto, the don't break so often because you change it more often, am i thinking right? it will be more cheaper to maintance than an m401 or a 510 right?
And is it really easy to refill the carto as in a mini? i read that it might be a bit hard to refill, but i saw a tutorial movie where the guy just take of the top rubber, the inner rubber, refill and close it all again. is that it? and after the refill you must let it dry for about 20min with the atomizer side up, right?
I've very interested in that KR model.. just tell me where i can read something more about it, and if you know some good places to buy one that ships to Europe (hopefully a uk store)

Thanks again for everything Boyd! Cheers!

Yeah now i'm thinking about a KR808D-1, that uses cartomizers! :)

Some folks feel the super-minis (m401,2,3), the ones actually the size of a cigarette, have the best tasting vape. Unfortunately they also have a very tiny cartridge and poor battery life with anything but the longest battery which also makes a very long cigarette about the length of the 120 style analog but still the diameter of a King Size or 100 analog.

The Joye 510 and DSE901 both are 3 part units just like the M401 but have longer battery life and a bigger cartridge. The 510 trades off battery life and taste for vapor and throat hit because it burns hotter. The 901 trades off vapor and throat hit for taste and battery life. Either is a good starting unit.

The KR808D-1, the cartomizer, is a very user friendly 2 piece setup. It has a design flaw which ends up burning the filler of the cartomizer. You can do a search of ECF for 'burnt cartomizer' or burning to find what I mean. Then decide if the ease is worth the trade-offs.

I really think you'd be happier with the 901 or 510 or KR808D-1 than with the M401.
