I keep getting juice pooled in the silver cup that the RM2 connects into. I cleaned my Reo and water flowed freely from the silver cup and out the plastic tube so I know that is not the problem. I'm watching when I squonk so I'm not getting to much juice on the ceramic part. My wick does not prevent juice from going back down....I'm at a loss and don't know what to do to solve this problem. I'm hoping my friendly neighbors in Reoville can help me out.:(

I'm not understanding. Are you saying you are getting juice in the REO's 510 connection? You can see juice pooled in it when you unscrew the RM2, is that what you mean? If so, that's a non-issue. If I have juice in there when I take the RM2 off, I just dab it out with a paper towel in my general cleaning of the REO. If the RM2 is on it, I could care less if there is a bit of juice in there. It doesn't leak anywhere because of the oring in the catch cup.

Some connectors sit a little higher than others .... Might be you need a little thicker O-ring if its filling your catch cup.

But you said the silver thing and your catch cup is black .... Hmm

Do you mean juice in the connector (threaded area) ?? Because that is normal and should not be an issue.
