Ok so I went to my local vapes store today picked up some liquid I've been waiting for and was looking at new tanks. Now my knowledge isn't very vast as i am still pretty new at vaping. I was eyeing the new aspire atlantis. Well I was told it would work with the MVP2. So I bought it. Come to find out it dosent and now I need to upgrade (was looking to anyways) so what I wanna know is what would you recommend that the atlantis will work on that is still setup like the MVP2. I don't wanna have to give up the built in battery if I don't have to.

While I am not familiar with the Atlantis specifically, most attys should work on your mvp. What are you experiencing and why wont it work?

Edit: Sorry, I didn't realise they were even marketing pre-made sub ohm setups. So that atty would not be appropriate for the MVP. You'll either need a mech or a <30 watt device. I don't know of a current device that has a built in Battery and goes that high. The soon to be released MVP3 will max out at 30 and might be able to run it but probably not to it's fullest ability.

The Cloupor DNA 30 would be able to handle it. It's similar to a Hana Modz but it's a lot cheaper. The same DNA 30 chip is in both of them though. The DNA 30 fires down to .5 ohms so it would be close but I've read that most Aspire Atlantis clearos have a resistance above .5 anyways. Check out some DNA 30 devices for sure.

Do you know of a good website to look at? As I said I'm relatively new to mods and stuff.

IPV Mini is selling for around 50 on elev8vape and it works great with the Atlantis. You are aware that you're pretty much only able to do lung hits with that device. There's simply no way to get a good mouth-to-lung hit in any airflow setting with the Atlantis. Not a bad thing but make sure it's something you enjoy before spending more money. I go into more detail here:

I forgot about the new iPV Mini. That would be an awesome mod for the Atlantis. 50 watts is perfect for that clearo. I definitely +1 that.

DNA 30 Box Mod by Cloupor that's the link to the Cloupor DNA 30. The DNA 30's are definitely nice chips but they don't have reverse battery protection so if you put your battery in backwards accidently your chip will instantly fry. But they're still awesome chips. But I actually think the iPV Mini would be a little bit better for the Atlantis. 30 watts is the lower end of the wattage range for that clearo.

The DNA 30's are an excellent starting point...no over priced, most can charge the battery (don't have to buy a charger).

I have the Cloupor DNA 30 and if you build your coils to 1.2 to 1.6 ohms it hits awesome. The device will fire as low as 0.40 as well.

It will fire your Atlantis, you should also check out the Eleaf Lemo...it looks like it chucks pretty hard...just ordered mine so can't wait...

It would be easier to learn to build and wick on an atty I would think but I did see a video on the Lemo and it doesn't look to hard.

Ok so my next question for you guys lol. Should I go with the 30 watt for the atlantis. Or more? I want something that I can use if I get into doing my own builds. I want to learn as I've had my eye on the Russian

If you're interested in getting into rebuildables I personally would go with a 50w or 100w device. Rebuildable open up a whole new realm of vaping possibilities lol. For a Kayfun/Russian you won't need anything more than 30 watts. I have one and the highest I've ran it is 20 watts. They just don't need a lot of power to get the job done. But if you're going to get an RDA you might wanna go with a 50w device or maybe even 100w.

I know you said you wanted a box, but just my input.....

I picked up the Atlantis a week ago and got a ZNA 50 Clouper clone to fire it. It has taken some trial and error, but for me, I am zeroing in at 35W as my sweet spot. After settling in with an Aerotank Mega on my MVP2 at 9.5W, I was a bit uncertain about going above 20 - 25 watts to start with the Atlantis and kinda struggled a while until I gave 35W a try. Whatever you get, give yourself some extra room just in case.

I'm hoping Santa is bringing me a Segelie 100W plus and an Atlantis tank for Christmas. The 100W box will fire anything I decide to get into in the future. For a built in battery device that will be sure to fire your Atlantis, maybe you could look into the Aspire sub ohm battery. Built in and I believe you can use it pass through.

Well honestly I don't care if it's a box or not. I just want something that is easy for me to learn on. I just want it to work with my stuff lol
