at what DPI? are there certain types of patterns or styles that work better?

Pattern and style is up to you. Whatever you like. The higher resolution the better but I'm sure most of what gets sent is 72dpi.

thats the toughest part!
i'm thinking nothing too bright so no whites nor pink.
maybe some pattern, or something with music as the theme. or maybe a cool looking violin...lol there's just too many choices!

Everybody's taste is different. I like patterns on mine. Someone in the old post made a great suggestion (maybe Jeff). Google, Images, and then do advanced. Set the search size for large, and then whatever you want. Doing tattoos turned up some great stuff. But I also looked for art deco, etc. Have fun

just using google search. that's almost always where I find graphics I'm looking for. I just try to think of odd terms to toss in the search box alongside what I'm actually looking for

Hey 420...I've wondered about this. Are you talking about the Thag/Built website or someplace on this forum. I've noticed people talking about Pr0n before and I've looked on the website and not seen what they were talking about...but then I'm old so I may have missed something????
