So I'm trying to install my new tank, but it's a pretty loose fit on the base of the DuD. The tank came with a couple of O-rings, which I thought were spares, but perhaps I'm supposed to use them? If so, how/where? They appear to be the bigger in diameter than the ones that came installed on the DuD, but same thickness, so I can't see how replacing the O-rings on the DuD with the ones that came with the tank would help. What am I missing?

Yup, they are a little bigger but make them fit and you will have no leaks. It takes the little extra rubber in there too take up the gap. Using a toothpick or something to help tuck them in as the tube goes over might hep too. Sorry it a bit of a pain but not much else to do with those skinny little orings, I have searched and spent plenty looking.

OCD... A question about the 'bevel' option on your tanks for the DuD/Chid/whatever. Is that bevel on the outside edge for a smoother transition/look or on the inside of the tank to make installation easier?

Count, The bevel is on the outside of the DuD tube and is aesthetics only. The inside edge of the tube is smoothed and as long as you have the oring pressed into the groove by wiping your finger around it the tube is easy to install as the fit is not all that tight but so far there have been no reports of leaking when using the included orings. It makes the transition from the larger OD glass blend into the device OD rather than a sharp step.
