Im new to the forum as well but welcome! there are so many cool mods out there finding the right one can be hard, as well as finding the right juice for your personal habit and tastes. Im sure you can find out a lot about mods on this site but my recommendation would be to look for a mod that is variable voltage. you can find some that work ok for not a lot but they do cost a bit more.

Ya they are too many mods to find out. I looked the variable voltage and i found bigvapors's Lambo Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Kit. Any recommend to this product?

Hi thomaskid, I went to the site and the Lambo kit is a less expensive alternative to a Provari. It's basically a Lava tube and I think this would be a really great ecig kit to start with. You will be just fine with it. I also saw the iTaste on the big vapors site and that is a nice device as well.

Depending on your budget an eGo Twist battery with a five pack of carto's, a charger and some juice may be the way to get started. Even a straight eGo starter kit is a great way to start as that is what I started with and still use it as my backup a year and half later. While having a choice is a good thing in vaping the choice selection these days is totally mind boggling. Mechanical devices, electronic devices, Variable voltage devices, varable wattage devices. The the Atomizer, cartomizer and tanks selections are pretty limitless. I highly recommend starting with something easy to use, easy to charge battery, and easy to fill carto or atty and cartridge. My basic advice to first time vapers is to get an eGo or Kgo starter kit and 5 or 6 sampler size flavors of juice. To start I personaly went with the 24 nic level for juice. I smoked 1.5 packs a day for 42 years and the 24 nic level worked for me. It took me 4 days to fully convert to ecigs. Also, unless your luck enough to have local Vaping store, back up batteries and carto's and juice are a must have.

Note that the eGo and KGo are smaller and probably better suited to pockets and traveling than the larger variable voltage devices. If you're less concerned with portability than flexibility and decide to go with a VV, I saw some good prices earlier today:

Let me assure you that you've made a great choice in asking for advice so soon. There are a lot of cheaply made, but overpriced kits out there that can look enticing to new vapers who don't know any better. Getting screwed over on their first kit can really discourage people new to e-cigs. Thankfully there are some really well made e-cigs available, and you'll get a wide variety of recommendations from veterans. Take a look at some of the e-cigs linked in this thread and find something that you think is a good fit for your needs.

I personally use an X2 battery from Smokeless Image, with clearomizers (it's basically a KGO with 808 threading). They last a long time between charges, can be used while charging, and the clearomizers are easy to fill. That said, variable voltage devices are almost certainly better than what I use considering the reviews I've heard, and you wouldn't have to upgrade for a while.

when I started vaping I went with something that was close to a real cig size wise. I got mine from the the mall kiosks, some lady that soldem outta her car none of them had any brand names on them.Needless to say junk! I ve been vaping with a Joyetech ego-c the past 8 months i must say its been great 4 me.very durabal.i got the steel one so cant see scratches real easy. I talked my mom into getting one aswell. tought she might have problems with the tank but shes doing great with it.(shes 69yrs) the juice is pretty important when it comes to nic-fix Iwas also pack a day I started out with 24ml nicotin it worked well for me. must say im very pleased with the ego-c starter kit comes with 2batt, 2cones(what atomizers sit in) 5tanks 5attys 1 charger. route66vapor were great guys really explaind thier products.

I agree , I also smoked a pack+ a day and after using mall brands for 2 weeks (which didnt really help because they dont get you the feeling of a cig ) i bought the ego-c and since then ( bit more then a month ) i usually dont smoke none and in special occasions smoke no more then 2 cig a day. the ego-c is easily cleaned , which is important for the life of the atomizer head ( you can easly find on you tube many diffrent ways to clean and choose the one that fits for you ). I bought the 1000w battery which is pretty large but still I never get stuck without battery or cartiage (very importany!) and its still easly get in my pocket and I also go arround with extra cartiage just in case. It looks a bit wierd at the begging to put in out from the pocket and start vaping becasue of its size but you get use to it , anyway e-cigs are becomming vey popular these days so you shouldnt mind...I think the ego-c worth it , just maintain cleaning it and its should work great . good luck!
