I'm looking to mix my own ejuice as I'm going back to college and need to save money where I can. I have never attempted this so any tips or advice are gladly welcome. I've found a starter kit that looks pretty good. If anyone's tried it, let me know if it worked well for you please!

The DIY Starter Kit

I've also considered just buying the items I need separately. I know that I need VG, PG, diluted nic, and flavoring. Where are the best places to buy from? I use 1.5mg juice now.
Im open to all tips or tricks. Thanks in advance!

If you are going to be a life long vaper you'll be rebuilding and mixing eventually. A 1 liter bottle of 100mg nic costs $50 and at your nic level will probably last you, in amber glass in the freezer, to middle age. A way to get confidence with flavoring is try diluting some premix 3 parts to one part and see how it tastes. Often it's improved because the liquid companies use too much flavoring for a lot of people. My recipe is below. Cost of ingredients for me is $30 a year.

That's the kit I started with. If you have extra 15ml glass bottles (empties) you can use those. The hand mixer is cool. Biggest thing is try not to cross contaminate your flavors with the syringes. That kit comes with a 250ml of nic if I remember correctly and that should last you your entire school year and then some at 1.5mg.

It's a decent kit to start, maybe a bit overpriced, but it works well.

At less then 5 cents an ML as a cost for all the suppliers you can make 1,400 ML of e-Liquids. After you are done you still have syringes, cylinders and beakers for use.
Yeah, its a bit cheaper than when I bought it, I think. Maybe not as overpriced as I thought. I think I just never used the plastic bottles.

I used them but switch to glass. You have to start somewhere.

For the OP be very accurate with your Nicotine calculations and use a good calculator. I would not suggest you work with the strength suggested up top when you start.
