Im ordering my first provar also my first vv. Wondering what tank to get at a decent price. Ill be be using boge 3.0 cartos. Thanks in advance.

I got a 3ml lil mama, and a 5.5ml luiquinator. I like both of them. The 5.5ml is wider than the provari, but they have a 3ml one also. Both will take the boge.
I would definitely recommend a 3ml version of whatever you get. I've heard good things about the lil mama, but don't actually own one. I have 4 liquinators though. The black delrin and SS liquinators I have are fantastic! I recently ordered a couple of the colored anodized aluminum ones. Although they are beautiful I don't like them nearly as much because they are a lot tighter fit and it's a lot more difficult to fill them.
Whatever brand you decide on, I'm sure you will love using a tank with the Provari. IMO you just can't own a better vaping setup!

Thanks for the replies. Ordered a black provari extension cap 2 batts. I got a j tank with 2 cartos and I ordered a bunch of juice from freedom smoke usa. Hopefully the provari gets here soon.
Biddaddyvapor also got some new tanks. Its all SS with a window in which you can see your fluid level. It looks pretty slick. I would have ordered one but they are all out of stock every time I check...
They aren't out of stock. They didn't release them for sale to the public yet. Just an FYI.
Tanks do pretty much the same thing. If they use o-rings, you may experience leaking. This is why I've pretty much exclusively moved to syringe tanks. They NEVER leak on me, they're super cheap ($25 for 20 syringes makes 10 full tanks and about 15+ extra tank tubes), and they're really easy to make.
Regardless of what tanks you go with, there are two issues you may run into with them. Leaking and proper feeding. People think that the size of the slot/hole is the culprit in these cases. What I do is cut a slot in my boges. Only one slot and not too big. I also drill and tap a hole in the tank tube. This has 2 very useful purposes; super easy, no mess filling, and a not quite air-tight seal that keeps juice in the tank tube (no leaks), but also lets air in to help the slot properly feed the carto. I have had no leaking issues and no feeding problems with my syringe mods since I've put screws into the tank tubes.
Now, they aren't the prettiest things ever, but, until they come out with a perfect tank that's reasonably priced, I'll stick with these, they work better than anything else I've tried.

They were in stock and selling, I should have bought it that day. Next day I checked, they were out of stock...
My only problem with my syringe tanks is the rubber stoppers. They're fine for a while, but eventually a nasty flavor always leeches into my juice. Maybe it's the syringes I've used, idk

My advice on tanks would be to get tanks made of aluminum or stainless steel.
I'm most familiar with the liquinator line from vaporescense. The one I use all the time is aluminum, and I also have another one that's some kind of high tech plastic or delrin or something.
The aluminum one is much, much easier to get the cartomizer to go back into place after filling, and I'm sure it'll be more durable.
I've also read similar advice along the way. My experience certainly matches it. All my tanks will be some kind of metal, nothing plastic or delrin, etc.

his v3 tank was made of a different plastic that doesn't react with liquids. That non-reactive plastic was one of the other reasons I really wanted one of the ACTv3's -- but missed out because by the time I was thinking "tank" and started researching, they were all gone already and he decided he was going to move on to a different design because everybody was ripping off his design/ideas. Can't say that I blame him much. I do wish I could have gotten one though.

I don't knock the guys that buy one of the cheap tanks (you know, the $8-$12 ones), heck, for $8-$12 if it works for a month and gives you good vapes then "you win" and you are only going to feel so bad about throwing the whole thing away if the tube cracks up or it starts leaking or something. It's hard to argue with "look man, I got this whole thing for $12 with a pre-punched carto and it vapes awesome". But if I'm going to pay extra/premium for something because "it's better", well, it needs to BE better or you might as well just buy the $12 setup.

Agreed Nic-holio. The only issue with paying $50+ a tank is that you really have to love that juice...or you have to buy several $50 tanks if you like variety. If you are using the $10 ones, well, you can see the benefit starts to become quite large if you're used to running around with 5 cartos with different flavors/juices.
I got my Provari in this morning and I already had several tanks, here is what I discovered so far. J-tank 5.5ml bigger around looks a little funny, Smoktech CHROME DCCT with a 1.7 single coil resurector, works very well and looks hot, and it's cheap to boot! I do have a L'il Momma tank on the way as I do have DIY juice that will crack tanks, so I wanted to go with the SS tube for my Red Hots juice.
karmakatie, how does the 1.7 carto work with the ProVari? (Mine should be here this weekend, yay!) What I want are some 3.0 Boge XL's (single coil) to fit into my 3.5ml Smoketech DCCtank, I think.
I was actually using ressurectors when my provari came in. They let me go up to 4.4 volts. Anything beyond that, I got an E1 error. I'm using boge 3.0 ohms and they're soooo much better. Unfortunately, the boge xl won't be long enough for a smoktech tank unless you rig up a super long drip tip that submerges inside the tank with the carto, or you could always trim it down some.
